What is Partners in Education?PIE will provide ample teacher resources and best

practice models through an electronic forum which allows PIE members to share what has worked well for them.

The program begins with a structured Pen Pal program which helps everyone to get to know each other and provides teachers an immediate assessment of current subject skill levels with PIE peer students.

PIE works with schools to develop assessment tools to monitor student progress and to provide continuous program improvement.

What is Partners in Education? As PIE teachers, student, staff, and

What is Partners in Education?PIE will be a cooperative venture; As new needs arise, new Partners will be

identified to help with whatever is needed;Efforts are underway to locate a nonprofit

organization to provide the administrative structure. If this option proves too costly then a new non-profit will be formed.

Fundraising will only start after the institutional status is finalized.

organizational status is settled and operational procedures are in place.

Two Partners will move forward to become the models for others to follow on a volunteer basis.
