PARTIES AND EVENTSIN

OUR HIGH SCHOOL

As in every school we have some celebrations - from the most important school events

to the smaller parties. We would like to show you an

emblance of it in the form of some photos and words.

Enjoy!

The most important event is Studniówka (prom). The party is for the students who graduate and the name of the event

says that 100 days left to the Matura (A-levels) exam. It always takes place in a breathe-taking, beautiful ballroom.

A group of students start the event by dancing the national Polish dance called Polonez. It is a really solemn moment, students are wearing black and white smart clothes and dance the traditional

choreography.

Everyone is watching us - our friends, families and teachers. We try to smile but we are so focused

After the dance we stand in semicircle and then it is time for official thanks.

Students give flowers to all the teachers and thank them for everything they have learnt.

After the official part of Studniówka we can get the party started and have some fun! We dance till morning

We pin our prom badges and go to take a commemorative photo. We have a lot of fun with

this!

About midnight students are making funny performances about teachers, lessons, generally

school life.

Półmetek is also an important event. It symbolizes the half way to our graduation. It takes place in our school and of course we can take a photo with somebody and dance.

Every year, on the first day of spring our school organizes the Mam talent show. If any student has a talent in doing somethig, it is the right time to show it and win a prize in the form of statuette.

During the show people can watch students’ galleries showing their drawings or photos. They also take part

in the competition but in plastic section.

When the jury has the official decision about winners it is time to hand them the statuettes and take a group

photo.

Another event celebrated in our school is Dzień Niezapominajki. Forget-me-not which is the main motive of the celebration is a symbol of memory about some

situations, places, moments or people. It means that you care about it and remember it. We usually have these flowers in school and also get badges like

these with a writing saying „Remember about me!”

As always we can pose for a picture with somebody.

Every year we celebrate the St.Patrick’s Day. Usually we take part in different competition and watch performances

prepared by students.

That’s everything we wanted to show you. We hope it was fun to watch it We enjoy every single event in our school and we wish you the same!
