Particulars related to the Conference-PIICON 2014Particulars related to the Conference are submitted below while seeking Technical Co-sponsorship of Industry Applications Society for the Conference.1. The official title, date and location of the conference. 6Th IEEE Power India International Conference (PIICON 2014); December 05 - 07, 2014; Le-Meridian, Connaught Place, Delhi, India.

2. The primary sponsor for this conference (must be a not-for-profit organization). The conference cannot include any other sponsors that are "for-profit". The conference can have "for-profit" organizations listed as "partners" or "supporters", but just not "sponsors". IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapter, and IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter (as Co-sponsors with each having 50% sponsorship.

Describe the process that will be used to review papers in order to avoid plagiarism, pre-publication, and poor quality writing/research.Prospective authors are to submit full length paper in not more than six (6) pages, clearly stating the objectives of the work, its significance in the advancement of scientific and technical knowledge and using the IEEE template available athttp://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html. The paper that would not include name(s) of author(s) or affiliation(s), would be reviewed by minimum 3 Reviewers using blind peer review process to ensure confidentiality and fair reviewing. Papersubmission has to be done by following EDASlink: http://edas.info. 8. Description of the "substantive" and meaningful contribution which the Society will have to the Conference's Technical Program.

-As some of the topics that are being covered come under the purview of the Industry Applications Society (as highlighted), name of the Society will go along with IEEE. Conference is expected to attract not only academicians, but also practicing engineers in the field. With the direct involvement of the Society, while existing members would be benefitted in updating their knowledge, new members too may be joining. On the other hand with quality Technical Program including Tutorials, Talks in Plenary Session, there would be opportunity for interaction between participants and Distinguished Lecturers, few of whom are expected.
