The Northville Community Center is the ideal place to host your special event. The Community Center offers several rooms: 4 Meetings Rooms, a Stage, Kitchen and Banquet Room, that can accommodate 20 to 120 guests. All rooms are Wi-Fi accessible.

The Recreation Center at Hillside and Community Center have full sized Gymnasiums available, as well. In addition the Recreation Center at Hillside also has two(2) mini-gyms, and a batting cage.

Futsal (Indoor Soccer) Ages 2 - 7 Michigan Futsal (soccer) Factory Academy provides a fun learning experience. Lessons are designed to enhance balance and coordination while teaching players to be comfortable with the ball. Visit a different country each week to learn about the soccer culture. Older players will learn to work in pairs, with ball time to learn how to make decisions in game like situations.

Grown Up & Me Ages 6 - 36 monthsA structured playtime is the perfect introduction to the value of dance. Grown-ups help stretch at the beginning and keep dancers on task. Get your dancer ready for her/his first class by visiting the studio’s in-house shoe & apparel store, and to become familiar with our facility. Parents are invited into the classroom every 3 - 4 weeks to view the progress the dancers are making. Three comfortable lobbies are available for family members to occupy during class time. All class fees include unlimited tickets to the end-of-session performance at the Hillside Middle School auditorium.

Northville Baseball and Softball Association, (NBSA) is a volunteer based organization dedicated to advancing the cause of baseball and softball to our communities’ young ball players. Fun is our number one goal! If you are interested in being involved with NBSA, meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at the Hillside Forum.

Recreation PassportA Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles entering the park for drop-off and pick-up. The Recreation Passport has replaced motor vehicle permits for entry into all Michigan State Parks and is available when renewing your licence plate tabs at the Secretary of State or at any park office. The cost for a Recreation Passport is $11.00. Vehicles not having the passport will be ticketed. Spring Youth Basketball Leagues for Girls & Boys Grades 3 - 8Our league emphasizes skill development, team play, and good sportsmanship for all involved. Evening practices are held once a week depending on coach and facility availability. Games will be played on Saturdays between 8:00am and 4:00pm, with an occasional Sunday game mixed in. An 8 game season will end with a “Position Day” matchup on the last weekend of games. Practice will begin two weeks prior to the start of your first league game, if possible. TGA Premier Junior Golf Grades K – 7 Golf that combines athletics, academics and life lessons to create a fun, safe, and engaging youth program. We incorporate station-based drills and games that develop the fundamental skills of grip, putting, chipping and full-swing. Participants will also learn rules, etiquette and life values. Intermediate - For players who can sustain a rally and already know the fundamentals of the game. Classes will be faster paced and include stroke instruction, games and point play situations. Students will be divided by ability in class.

Our goal is to provide a program that allows players to develop as lacrosse players and teammates, fostering long lasting friendships. We welcome players from other local communities where lacrosse is not offered. Our programs run throughout the year to introduce new players to the sport and allow returning players a place to grow as athletes.

Sand Volleyball 18 & over 2018 marks the 20 year anniversary of Northville’s amazing sand courts! Come out and play on the best courts in the area. These are only a sampling of the many activities that our center offers year-around. Please register early, as many of our programs/trips sell out quickly. There is no membership fee and the majority of our programs run for a nominal fee.

Program Cancellation Policy: Northville Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel an activity due to low enrollment and will provide a full refund to participants. Participants will have the opportunity to enroll in another activity if space is available. If an activity is cancelled due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control, Northville Parks and Recreation will make every effort to reschedule the activity. Activity information regarding cancellations and make-ups will be communicated via email.

Refund Policy: A refund check or credit card refund will be issued and/or mailed to the payee within 3 to 4 weeks of the request. Refund checks will be mailed directly.• If the Northville Parks & Recreation Department cancels: Payee will be refunded the full amount.• If participant cancels prior to the beginning of the 1st class: Full amount minus $15 processing fee, and any incurred costs.• If participant cancels after 1st class and before the 2nd scheduled class: 50% of class fee.• Refunds will not be issued for requests made after the second scheduled class.Please note the following:• Requests for refunds must be made in writing, fax or e-mail and received by the Parks and Recreation Department prior to the beginning of the second class of the program.• Fees with ticketed events, concerts, excursions & one-day activities are non-refundable.• No refunds or reductions in fees will be given for classes missed by participants. No pro-rated fee once class/activity has begun.• All check refunds are subject to a $15.00 administrative fee, plus proration for the class and supply costs. Inclement Weather Cancellations:Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department weather hotline at (248) 449-9951. Except in severe weather or power outages, department buildings will remain open for use, but some classes/services may be cancelled.

Coming this spring! Thayer’s Corner is a township park, maintained and operated by volunteers. The park is open from dawn until dusk year ‘round. There are walking/hiking trails, wildlife and “nature” to enjoy.

An old historic barn and picnic shelter are available for rent.
