PARK FARM VENUE HIREHere at Park Farm we realise the importance of having a blank canvas in order to create your own memorable and very special day and as such we have created a venue consisting of two totally unspoilt and authentic rustic barns, The Cart Shed and The Lambing Shed both of which are licensed for civil ceremonies offering the opportunity for you and your guests to relax amongst family and friends. We are a summer only wedding venue open from May to October and all weddings are offered with exclusive use over a three day hire period allowing you to get as creative as you like!

We pride ourselves on our flexible approach allowing all catering and bar requirements to be outsourced and with our no corkage policy this gives you the opportunity to reflect your own personal tastes in all areas.

Park Farm is a working farm situated on one of England’s oldest privately owned estates. Reached by a mile long drive and flanked either side by a Deer Park and historic rolling countryside, we can provide a private and totally unique backdrop for an unforgettable day. THE CART SHEDThe Cart Shed is a red brick and tiled rustic barn, ideal for weddings and with the addition of our adjoining spacious 9 x 8m marquee, we have the capacity to seat a maximum number of 130 guests comfortably on either round or trestle tables. With expansive views from all directions, wonderful rustic timbers decked with fairy lights, a glowing fire pit and outside seating under twinkling festoon lights, we have created a truly magical and atmospheric venue for you and your guests to enjoy over a three day hire period.

THE LAMBING SHEDOriginally a milking parlour, The Lambing Shed has a wealth of character and is generally the first choice of our two barns in which to host your civil ceremony and is licensed for 100 guests (including all officials, registrars, photographers etc).After the ceremony has taken place, we replace the chairs with more comfortable seating and with the addition of a large central woodburner The Lambing Shed becomes a cosy and intimate space for those quieter moments.

THE ORCHARDThe Orchard offers plenty of space to erect bell tents, yur ts etc to give a glamping/festival themed event. Using our local tent supplier and incorporating The Snug and Hut (our fabulous shepherds huts) you can turn the orchard into a tented village accommodating guests overnight or alternatively why not let friends and family pitch their own tents.

For family gatherings and to help enter tain the children, add old fashioned enter tainment such as sack races, hoopla, egg and spoon and three legged races or hide and seek among the ancient oak trees. A large oak swing is also located in the orchard which could add to the excitement not to mention additional photo opportunities!

OUR GARDENSOur stunning gardens add another dimension to Park Farm and create the perfect backdrop for your family photographs.

ACCOMMODATIONPark Farm has a thriving farmhouse bed and breakfast business with two well appointed rooms offering luxury ensuite facilities.Book your celebrations with us and have exclusive use of both our rooms together with our bespoke 16 ft shepherds hut.

THE GRANARYOur spacious family room is ideal for the bridal par ty the night before the Wedding or for your wedding night. With it’s own entrance, The Granary is very private with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom and pull out double sofa bed sleeping 2 – 4 people comfortably. A single camp bed can also be added if required.

THE GARDEN ROOMA lovely south facing room within the house with great views of the garden. Sleeps 2 with a zip and link king size bed and stylish ensuite bathroom.

THE SHEPHERDS HUTThe Shepherds Hut is our alternative glamping accommodation nestled under the ancient oaks of Park Farm. Staying in the hut is a magical experience and with it’s lovely south facing views, ensuite bathroom and toasty wood burner, you couldn’t be more comfortable. Guests staying in the hut are welcome to join others in the house for a full farmhouse cooked breakfast.Additional glamping tents can be hired in and guests are welcome to pitch their own tents if they prefer. When we have camping guests as well as house guests staying, we provide delicious sausage and bacon baps for everyone the morning after which is a perfect conclusion to your celebrations! (a small charge applies).

CATERING OPTIONSWhilst we have a comprehensive list of local suppliers, who are all happy to help and have a wealth of experience, you are welcome to source your own suppliers for your wedding day thereby reflecting your own personal tastes and making your day truly bespoke.

Every wedding day is different and by working alongside local companies, menus and drinks can be personalised to suit individual requirements and budgets. All tastes can be catered for, whether you choose between a formal wedding breakfast or a more laid back approach say a barbeque, picnic hampers or even an onsite wood fired pizza oven. The Cart Shed par ticularly suits a more informal vibe and round or trestle tables can be laid for a relaxed country feast.

We work alongside suppliers who can supply a fully stocked bar whilst being happy for you to supply your own toast and table wines and in addition there are no corkage charges at Park Farm.

PRICE LISTOur prices reflect a three day hire period during which time the venue and accommodation are exclusively yours. The venue hire price extends from 12 noon the day before the wedding to noon the following day.
