” Alms giving is a worthy offering in the sight of the Most High for all who practice it.” Tobit 4:11 You may have noticed some changes lately. The faith formation building has been repurposed, work is underway for Phase 2, and our Holy Cross family continues to grow. We hope these signs of pro-

gress are enough to deem pledging time, talents, and treasure, to the GIFT Campaign a worthy

offering for those parishioners who have not done so yet. The Most High is with us. Won’t you join in

with your financial support to help us reach our goal of $4,000,000 by the feast of Holy Cross. We

are at $ 3,081,158 as of July 22, 2018, please do what you can!

Pledges can be made online at www.holycrosscc.org/GIFT by following the link on our website to

the GIFT campaign. Donations can be placed in the GIFT campaign envelopes in the pews and

placed in the collections basket or GIFT box in the back of the church.

Our next Baptismal Preparation class will be October 13, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Please stop by the church office to register, we celebrate the baptisms the first weekend of each month during Mass.

Adult Faith Formation Classes will begin in September, and these classes are open to any interested parishioner, grade 6 and up. Encourage your young disciples to attend this class with you and enjoy learning about your faith together. Classes will be of-fered during the day and evening at 303 King Road, Frisco, Texas. 75034. Topics will include:

“Exploring Church History Part 2” and “ UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF THE BIBLE”

Dining for Dollars—Monday, August 13 from 5— 9 pm. at Spring Creek Barbeque, 3623 Preston Road, Frisco. You must inform them at the door that you are there for the Holy Cross fundraiser. If we get 150 supporters in the door, we will earn 20% of the eve-ning’s Proceeds. Last year we made $ 1,100 at this event. Invite your family and Friends to join us to support our building fund.
