Children’s Christmas Pageant
Love to Act and/or sing? We need you! Christmas is fast approaching and we need children for the Christmas pageant on December 17th (hopefully 9 & 11am). For all those celebrating Confirmation, it’s a fun way to get your service component filled. Speaking and non-speaking parts are available. (Please note that any children volunteers from the Children’s Liturgy group would only be expected to sing during the 9am pageant). There will be a sign up sheet at the back of the church. Details for rehearsal dates will be on the sheet For more information contact Elisabeth Murphy [email protected].
St. Leonard Victorian Tea &
Penny Sale Sat. December 2 This event is held on the same weekend as the << Olde Fashioned Christmas >> in Manotick. To our parishioners, who have supported us over the years, we look forward to seeing you. To new parishioners, this event is not only a fundraiser
but an opportunity to meet others in the community. We have lunch, 11:30 A.M to 1:30 P.M., or you can just drop in to look at the prizes and put your tickets into the appropriate jar and come back at 2 P.M. for thepicking of the prizes. This is also a reminder to all of our wonderful crafters and bakers that we will once again be looking for any donations for the prize table, food, and help. Gifts may be left at the office as we shall be starting to show these items by the middle of November. There are sign-up sheets in the church foyer for whichever way you can assist us. This is also a great opportunity for students to earn their volunteer hours! For more information please call Arlene at 613-692-3464. Thank you.
THANK YOU FROM THE CWL We are profoundly humbled by the fantastic response of all who participated in our annual bake sale! The overwhelming success was due to the many generous bakers and buyers for fresh goodies & frozen pies. Our many charitable works are now well funded. Bless you!!
