Jim and Fran Visit…

SPAIN

My parents, Jim and Fran, recently came to visit me in Spain. They are very happy to know where I live and where I work. Most importantly, they are very glad to have met all of you at CEIP Ria de Vigo.

On Friday, my parents and I went to the Cies Islands. They are so beautiful! In Oklahoma, there are no islands, beaches or an ocean. You are so lucky to have the ocean so close!

Remember where Oklahoma is????

We went to the islands by boat. We went with Luis’ dad. He works

with the lighthouses. We went inside one of the lighthouses.

Can I drive??

No! I want to!

WE ARE BIRDS!!!

On Sunday, my dad and I ran The Vig-Bay Half Marathon. It was so much fun!

……and after 21 kilometers.

After the race we went to A Guardia to see “los restos” of

the Celtics.

On Tuesday we went to Madrid. It was very fun! We went to Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol, Palacio Real and many other

places!

My mom and I have the same shoes! How cute…

We had a very nice vacation. My parents really liked Madrid, but I think Galicia was their favorite part. They have to come back to Spain next year! Thank you for having us at
