PRINCIPAL’S WORDS Wednesday night, 18th May was an opportunity for our future Year 7 parents to find out more of what is on offer at Mareeba State High School. It was great to see families finding out information about the great things that happen at our school. With the first day of transition visits occurring this week also, the students and families have had a small taste of life in a High School. All students received an enrolment pack at the meeting or in their transition visit. Please contact our school office if you have not received a pack and we will organise one for you.

It was also a pleasure to be involved with the Tablelands Moot Court Competition that Mareeba High won on Tuesday evening. The experience gained by our students was fantastic with all members being recognised in the paper and on parade next week. This is another great example of the fantastic work done by staff and students at our great school.
