conditional admission
• Start planning early
• Begin applying to post-secondary schools in fall of grade 12
• Have a Plan A and a Plan B – apply to multiple post-secondary schools
• Get help when needed
Choosing a University • Some considerations to determine fit:
• What are the required courses and grades to be competitive for my program(s) of choice at this school?
• What are the sizes of first year classes?
• What is the culture like at this school?
• What were my gut reactions / first impressions of this school when I visited?
• Does the teaching style fit my preferred learning style?
• How far away from home is it?

• Request for official transcripts to be mailed to post-secondary schools
• View Detailed Academic Report (DAR) – Unofficial Transcript PDF
• View diploma exam marks
• All students will eventually need a myPass account
• I can help them set this up if they don’t have it already

admission to the school first• Then, you can apply for scholarships at that school next
• You do not need to be admitted to the school to apply for scholarships
