Happy New Year! Welcome to the 2nd half of the year

Dear all,

Can you believe the photos above were only taken three weeks ago? It’s 2018, and after our

ToTH teachers have had time to relax, renew, and rejuvenate, we are excited to greet you today, the first school day of 2018.

This newsletter is dedicated to gratitude and thanks. Firstly, We want to thank you, our parents, for your energy and enthusiasm last year. We received an outpouring of support and

love in 2017, and holiday gifts, and donations that beautified our environment. Primary families welcomed our new teacher Primary teacher with open arms in September 2017 and

Toddler families have taken parent involvement to the next level! We would not be the community we are without you; you exemplify what it means to be a “Montessori” parent.

Montessori schools do not thrive and grow without a few fundamental necessities. One is a parent community that truly cares for the school and we thank you for being just that.

The other imperative for a strong Montessori school is the ability to hire and retain dedicated, talented, passionate teachers. Gwen, Jenn, Nathaly, Anja, and Natalie show up with

enthusiasm and joy each day and without them, we wouldn’t be ToTH. And of course, without Ila supporting us daily at every turn in so many ways, there’d be a gaping void in our ToTH

world, so let’s not forget about the woman behind the women!

Finally, without the grit, determination, vision, and commitment of our three founding

families, hundreds of toddlers and preschoolers would have not have come through the doors of this community school over the last six years. Sara, Anya, and Joy continue to work

behind the scenes in so many areas it’s hard to keep track, and ToTH is deeply rooted by their ongoing attention and love.

Here’s to a fantastic 2018 and to a wonderful school family!!
