Dear Parents and Guardians of Juniors,

The junior year is a time for decision and planning. It is also a time to assessand revise your son's educational future.

College is an important step, and with college costs rising steadily, it can bean expensive one. With this in mind, I am sure as parents and guardians youwill have a lot of questions. I am inviting you and your son to attend a semi-nar outlining the process.

The meeting will take place in Tech Hall on Wednesday, December 7th andwill begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately two and a half hours. This presentation is a combination of the student and parent presentations Ihave done in the past, which some of you may have attended.

Guest speakers representing the college options available to your son havebeen invited, and in order to ensure adequate seating and distribution ofmaterials I ask you to complete the reply slip and ask your son to return it assoon as possible.

I look forward to seeing you in December as we work together to make thistransition from high school to college as successful as possible. If you haveany questions you may call me at 626-940-2120.

Sincerely,

Hilary Preston, Junior Counselor
