SaaS companies are just getting started in Turkey. If North American and European markets are any indications for the Turkish market, Turkish SaaS companies are positioned for dramatic growth over the next few years. There are many economic forces predicting this growth. 95% of Turkish enterprises are small businesses with less than 10 employees that need SaaS solutions to solve basic pains. Turkish regulations will soon digitize business operations such as accounting and invoicing, pressuring many small businesses to seek SaaS solutions. Other factors such as 90% internet penetration rate amongst SMEs, readiness of ecosystem players such as payment gateways, and readiness of internet spending will contribute to the growth of SaaS in Turkey.
