PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Program: T-Mobile Integrated Data Warehouse Role: Principal Architect Customer: T-Mobile Location: Bellevue WA USA Duration: May '15 – Till Date Program Description: This program is to build the strategic Integrated Data Warehouse & Reporting environment for T-Mobile to address the new challenges in the Telecommunication domain with use of Hadoop (Horton Works) and RDBMS (Teradata) technology strengths. Hadoop layer is used to collect the data from various sources as Data Lake and perform all the transformations required to integrate the data. RDBMS (Teradata) is used to build reporting Data marts as presentation layer for end consumption. Support for RFIs/RFPs and Solutions: Deal qualification, Participate in business proposal meetings to understand customer vision, business objectives, and strategy & requirements scope and create the deal winning strategies, create end to end solutions, recommend alternate approaches, prepare estimations, and review estimations. Partner with technology specific Centre of Excellence team and delivery teams to convert RFPs into tangible deals.



Consulting and Road mapping: Conduct consulting activities with customers and recommend the implementation roadmap to achieve the customer vision/Industry trends

Solution Accelerators & Innovations: Create the solution accelerators and technology specific POC’s to improve the productivity, so as to create the competitive bid to the customers.

Some of the big wins are Europe’s biggest Bank, Australian big Bank, and very large Banks in USA, Healthcare customer in USA and many more small deals with overall deal conversion ratio of >10%

Europe’s largest bank was one of the very challenging deals where RFP was driven by Banks Business and Banks IT participation was very minimal. There were challenges in terms of defining the requirements, Business drivers and stakeholder conflict management. We are able to win this deal by collaboratively defining the solution with stakeholders through due diligence activities against the stiff competition from other existing vendors

Project: Telstra – Enterprise Data Warehouse Role: Solution Designer/Sr Data Architect Customer: Telstra Location: Melbourne Australia Duration: May 2009 to Oct 2011 Project Description: Project was to build the Enterprise Data Warehouse for Telstra (Australia) by integrating data from different operational systems across Telstra in Teradata platform using Teradata cLDM data model. Breadth of the initiative covers the data from CRM, Billing, Journals, Usage and Collections etc subject areas. As Solution Designer, responsibility starts from ‘Business Requirement’ to come up with High Level Design for the part of the initiative, deliverables include ‘Impact Assessment Document’ for Vendor to come up with quote for that initiative, ‘Requirements definition document’, Logical Data Model & Physical Data Modeling in Erwin tool, ETL mapping, Systems requirement document etc. Project: GE – CF Capital Solutions Enterprise Data Warehouse Role: Data Architect/Project Manager Customer: General Electric Commercial Finance Services Location: Norwalk CT USA Duration: Mar 2008 to May 2009 Project Description: Project is Enterprise Data Warehouse for General Electric Commercial Finance, integrating/warehousing data from all Commercial Finance sub businesses across the globe, Ware house is in Teradata platform with Informatica and BTEQ as ETL tools and Business Objects and JSP Front end reporting tools. Warehouse is built on “Teradata FS LDM” model covering all commercial finance functional areas like Marketing, Credit Decision, Booking and Asset Management. Data warehouse is fed from Siebel, Main Frames, ACBS, Info lease, ATLAS etc transaction systems from different sub businesses within the Commercial Finance. EDW Data warehouse is enabling Marketing Analytics, Deal Life Cycle/Conversion analyses, Risk Metrics (Consistency across all sub businesses) reporting, Customer Mastering and BASEL II compliance reporting etc). As Data Architect, responsibilities in this projects was Logical/Physical Data modeling in fsLDM, Source Data analyses, Data Profiling and Data Mapping along with managing the team of Data Architects in terms work estimation, work scheduling and deliverables tracking etc. Project: GE - CFS DW Center Of Excellence



Role: CoE Lead/Project Manager Customer: General Electric Corporate Financial Services Location: Danbury CT USA Duration: Oct 2006 to Mar 2008 Project Description: Project involves BI initiatives in Corporate Financial Services and Support for the existing DW applications. Marketing Analytics, Finance Data Marts, Risk Reporting/Consistency and Money Transfer Enquiry initiatives are part of programs initiatives and project also includes support and maintenance of existing data marts. Environment is in Oracle 9i with BI and Non BI applications using Informatica as ETL tool with Business Objects as reporting tool. This project also involves MetaViewer and Documentum tools support. As part of this program, we have done the Infrastructure upgrade and Informatica Upgrade. Project: GE - Business Intelligence and Business Reporting Role: ETL Lead Customer: General Electric Commercial Financial Services Location: Danbury CT USA Duration: Dec 2003 to Sept 2006 Project Description: This project involves support and maintenance of the Capital Solutions Data Warehouse. Environment resides in Oracle 9i database and contains more than 60 data marts and 2 ODS’s for Capital Solutions Data warehouse. This DW integrates more than 30 source systems data across the world and more than 5 different types of feeds with defined SLA on data availability. Data marts includes all the leasing business functional areas from Sales and Marketing to Asset Management with Informatica as ETL tool and Business Objects as reporting tool. As part of this project, we have migrated Focus reporting system in to DW and also Infrastructure split up into 2 to align with the business split up was handled seamlessly. Project: GE - VFS BI Development Role: ETL Lead Customer: General Electric Commercial Financial Services Location: Mumbai India Duration: Sept 2003 to Dec 2003 Project Description: This project primarily focuses on enhancements in the existing digital cockpit for VFS Business developed in the earlier phases by TCS, The enhancements are in terms of broadening the cockpit for the other programme operations and incorporating the additional functionalities in the existing digital cockpit. The Partnership Digital Cockpit Project is one that spans VFS business data and source systems and will be implemented in a phased approach. This project will broaden the business users to have insight into Dealer Level Economics. Project : GE - VFS Norad Role: ETL Developer/Reports Developer Customer: General Electric Commercial Financial Services Location: Mumbai India Duration: May 2003 to Sept 2003 Project Description: This project primarily focuses on developing Asset Management Tracking System for VFS. The NORAD is one that spans VFS business data and source systems and will be implemented in a phased approach throughout 2003. This project will enable the business to have insight into Dealer Level Economics for Tracking the Leased Assets.



Project: GE - CEF BI Development Role: ETL Developer/Reports Developer Customer: General Electric Commercial Financial Services Location: Mumbai India Duration: June 2002 to May 2003 Project Description: This project was executed in 2 phases CEF Risk Data mart, Prospecting Pipeline Reporting. Risk data mart was built to analyze the customers for delinquency, volume, Receivable Amount, write-off, Recovery, Specific Reserves, Monthly Billed Rentals and Exposures. This integrates data from 23 source systems across the world where Commercial Finance operates, with Flat files, Oracle, SQL Server as sources. Prospecting Pipeline reporting was built to measure the Sales Reps performance on weekly bases, This data mart, integrates the data from prospecting data marts (Siebel stars), Credit and Decision System and Booking System and gives one view for a Sales rep. This was a very high visibility and Critical project for the business. Web based tools (asp) are used in Digital cockpit and Weekly sales rep report distribution and BO Universe for Adhoc reporting. Project : GE Digitization Role: ETL Developer/Reports Developer Customer: Multiple GE Accounts Location: Mumbai India Duration: June 2001 to June 2002 Project Description: This is online Decision Support System (DSS) for higher-level management, which uses Oracle 8I as Database and Business Objects 5.0 as a Reporting Tool. This system uses data warehouse architecture. This project includes tools like eRecruitment, Invoice Tracker, eDatagen, eSixsigma PI, eQuiz, Business Tracker, Revenue Tracker, Backgrounds Check Application and eVOC.
