RESEARCH PROJECTS:

1) Title: The Effect of Bombax Ceiba Linn. against Experimental Obesity in wistar rats under kind supervision of Prof. P. L. Sharma and co-supervision of Dr. Rohit Goyal.Role: Project Associate.Description: The study was carried out in High fat diet treated rats at 3 different doses regimen. In this study Parameters was evaluated; Anthropometric parameters, Free fatty acid level (FFA), Serum lipid & hepatic markers, Tissue biochemical

markers and Histological study was done to check the efficacy of the drug. On the basis of the results obtained in present study, it may be concluded that the methanolic extract of Bombax ceiba Linn. has significant anti-obesity potential against HFD induced experimental obesity, possibly due to modulation of FAS and PTP-1B signaling in rat.

2) Title: The Ameliorative Potential of Bombax Ceiba Linn. against Experimental Hypertension in wistar rats under Kind supervision of Prof. P.L. Sharma and co-supervision of Dr. Rohit Goyal.Role: Project Associate.Description: This study was carried out in two different models; HFD induced Hypertension and DOCA salt induced Hypertension. In these study parameters was evaluated; Systolic-Diastolic blood pressure, Anthropometric parameters and Serum Biochemical markers was done to check the effectiveness of drug. After the completion of study all results showing that the extract of Bombay CIBA Linn. having Anti-Hypertensive Potential on two different doses.
