  • MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTOn behalf of the Builders Association Corpus Christi Area, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all residents of the Greater Coastal Bend Area, and visitors alike, to the 2014 Parade of Homes on Friday- Sunday, June 20-22 & June 27-29. Tickets are $5 each. Each ticket provides you entry into all of the 2014 Parade homes, can be purchased at any of the homes or online, and a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit Operation Finally Home.

    We invite you to enjoy the works of art that have been brought to life by some very dedicated members of our Association. Every year it seems that the Parade of Homes gets a little better than the year before. A lot of hard work and sweat go into making the Parade a success, and it always comes together in the end with the finished product of awe-inspiring homes that offer a menu of exquisite home options. Not only will you

    witness breathtaking masterpieces, but you will also be graced with the beauty of more affordable price-ranged homes.

    This year our area builders will feature a variety of homes showcasing the latest in design trends and product technolo-gies. Our Parade covers areas of Padre Island, Flour Bluff, and Corpus Christi. If touring this Parade of Homes sparks a de-sire to own a home of your own, yet you do not know where to start, then take some extra time to visit with the builders in the homes. Find out if they can answer some of your questions. You never knowyou could end up with your very own Parade home!

    Within this Parade guide are maps to all of the featured homes along with floor plans and elevations for each of the partic-ipating builders. This years Showcase Home featured by the Builders Association Corpus Christi Area is built by the BACC Past Presidents Council in the Bluegrass Estates subdivision in Flour Bluff (see insert map for directions). Many thanks go out to our talented builders and associate members for their hard work and dedication to make the Parade of Homes and our Showcase Home a continued success.

    This years multi-site Parade of Homes will be open from 11:00 AM 6:00 PM each day of the Parade. Be sure to complete the back of your entry ticket after you have gone through all the homes to register for a flat screen television, courtesy of Grande Communications, and to vote for your favorite home. Also, dont forget to download the New Homes Guide app to get driving directions to each of the homes, see photos of the homes, and get home features.

    A debt of gratitude goes out to all of the Parade of Homes partners. Without our generous partners, the continued growth and success of this annual event would not be possible. This year we are proud to present the following companies as our partners. A home is probably going to be one of your largest invest-ments, and you should use the builders and sub-contractors who play an important role in our industry and in our com-munity. Our BACC members contribute to our community, and they will be with you at church, in civic organizations, and here tomorrow when you need them!
