Introduction
Mobile parabolic food aid delivery system Refugees surrounded by a piranha-
infested river Mountainous jungles full of wild
dangerous creatures Goal is to get food to refugees

Constraints
No bigger then 18”x18”x18” 10 pounds Must sit behind a line 12 inches from the top of the rampMust be self triggering Can’t cost more the $20

Decisions
The only one that all parts logically worked Felt springs were more accurate Good trigger Connected to FAP longest
![Page 15: Parabolic Food Aid Delivery System Manjaneeq Allison King Bader Asadallah University of the Pacific Stockton, CA 12/5/2002.](https://reader030.fdocuments.in/reader030/viewer/2022032522/56649d6a5503460f94a48164/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Refinements
Adding extra springs Add block of wood where trigger hits Extending arms that hold the FAP Bending angle of arms positioning

Suggested Improvements
BungeesStronger metal rodsDon’t use springsSmaller wheels
![Page 24: Parabolic Food Aid Delivery System Manjaneeq Allison King Bader Asadallah University of the Pacific Stockton, CA 12/5/2002.](https://reader030.fdocuments.in/reader030/viewer/2022032522/56649d6a5503460f94a48164/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)
Conclusion
Springs don’t have enough force to make the PFAP go over a 6 ft. wall Springs can make the 10 ft. length accurately Manjaneeq was too long to fit on the ramp, behind the yellow line
