Comments

The candidate has sought out many relevant, but not interrelated foci, for example in the

description of the objects and colours of two artworks.

The candidate is able to connect art forms to many related experiences and feelings, showing

understanding of the relationships among forms, and has attempted to analyse the key messages of the

designs, for example the different use of colour in the two artworks.

The candidate is able to provide multiple interpretations of meaning with forms of presentation,

for example in plate (2a), he/she suggests the drawing tools do not belong to the woman. In plate (2b),

he/she states the woman may be the owner of the house.

The candidate does not make any judgement on designated artwork.

implementing the key message of the theme, for example in his/her use of water colour.

The candidate is able to select and master multiple visual elements and principles of design,

accurately and effectively in implementing the key message, for example in his/her use of colour and

the images in the work.

The candidate is able to demonstrate personality characteristics in an original and uniquely

imaginative way, for example, in his/her use of multi-perspective views to in drawing the art room.

The candidate is able to integrate relevant forms of artistic creation in different emotions or ideas,

for example, his/her use of colour, composition and images in the work shows the his/her intention.
