“ONE IN TEN”

The Gospel of Luke (17:11-19) records the story of the healing of the Ten Lepers. All ten were healed, but only one re-turned to thank Jesus. Two thousand years have passed by since, but it might as well be happening now.

Why is it that we act in the same way? We are inclined to forget our God until we are in dire need of His help. They hadwhat they wanted and they forgot the One who gave it to them.

Jesus put His finger on what they really lacked. True faith in the Savior cannot exist with ingratitude. Where do we stand? When sickness or stress comes into our lives, we reach out to God for help. Do we return to thank the

Lord for His help? Where is the evidence of our faith in deep gratitude to God for the mercy He has shown us?

GOD BLESS YOUR DAY!
