Westside Community Schools Panther Weekly News December 18, 2020 PAWSitive Rules: Be Responsible, Respectful and Safe Upcoming Events December 21 - 1/4 No School January 5 - Classes Resume (YELLOW Mode) Don & Millies = the first Thursday of the month Spirit Day = the first Friday of the month Introducing our new Prairie Lane Art Teacher, Melisa Brezina Hello, I am very excited to be joining the Prairie Lane Panthers and the Rockbrook Bulldog in January! I have been teaching for about 7 years, the last three with the Westside Community Schools. Art has always been a passion of mine, and I am very excited to share that passion with your students. A little about myself, my husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl (IngLynn) this past July. We have two cats and a dog that keep us on our toes. In our free time, we love going for walks, spending time outside, and watching IngLynn grow and develop. I look forward to getting to know all of the amazing students and families this upcoming semester. Wishing you a very safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year! See you in 2021! I am so appreciative of our Prairie Lane families who have been patient, kind, flexible and supportive. Extended Campus, changes in MODES (yellow, green, yellow), plexiglass, masks, social distancing and recess zones! Even with all these changes, our students adjusted quickly with the support of staff who focused on social emotional supports and academics. Prairie Lane ROCKS! I hope each of you have a wonderful break even if it’s a little different this year. We will see you January 5, 2021 in YELLOW 50% mode.
