Trimming videos

Trimming beginning or end of a video
1. Choose the scissor tool .2. Drag grey areas along the
timeline. The grey areas are those that are deleted from the final recording.
3. Check your 'cut' sessions. You can uncut/untrim sections of your video if you wish to make changes later
4. Hit the 'Publish' or 'Apply' button in the top right to save your now edited clip.
Trimming out the middle of a video1. Place the cursor over the section where you’d like to start the cut
2. Click and drag to the right to the point where the cut should end
3. There will be handles at each end of the grey section to allow finetuning of the trim
4. Click ‘Apply’ or ‘Publish’ at the top of the window to save changes
Creating more accurate trims1. Play the video from the beginning. Pause where you want to start the video.
2. Then drag the grey bar over the play head (red bar) and let it snap into place.
3. To make a cut in the middle, play the video until the start of the section you want to remove, make a tiny trim, resume the video then pause again where the trim should end. Then drag the red bar back to the end of the tiny trim to snap into place.

Hands-on practice: trimming your video
1. choose one of your videos, e.g. the video that you created in session 2
2. Cut the beginning of the video, e.g. your change of the application, and the end of the video, e.g. when you press the 'stop recording' button.(You can also challenge yourself by cutting the middle part of your video.)
3. Click 'Publish'.
4. Check if your video trimmed correctly.
5. Choose one of the icons on "Status and feedback" of your Bb Collab Ultra after you have completed the task.

Removing and adding slides to videos

Go to Slides in the Editing
menu bar
Upload a new PPT/slide
It will appear at the bottom of the list of
slides
Delete the unwanted
slide in the timeline

… and choose a new one from the list
Use the pointer to
scroll along the timeline Click + to add slide to
that point in timeline
Delete an entire PPT or an individual slide
from the timeline

Hands-on session: removing & adding slides
1. choose one of your videos
2. hover over video title until Edit option appears – click it
3. go to Slides in the menu bar
4. add a slide or PPT (wait for it to process) (If you've recorded the CILL video, you can use these new slides)
5. delete the unwanted slide
6. add the new slide to appropriate point in the timeline
7. click 'Publish'
8. choose one of the icons on "Status and feedback" of your Bb Collab Ultra after you have completed your task
