FROM THE COFFEE COLLECTION It has been a long time since we have offered a coffee from Panama. While many immediately associate Panama with Finca Esmeralda and the recently crowned ruler of the free world “Geisha” variety, there are many other notable farms in Panama. This particular coffee is produced by Finca San Sebastian on the slopes of Volcan Barú. The micro-climate is dry and influenced by southerly Pacific coast winds. The region of Boquete lies close to the border with Costa Rica and is renowned for producing some of the world’s finest coffees. The coffee is fully washed and sundried. The primary variety is Catuaí, with some Typica being found in the mix. The cup is sweet, vibrant, and full bodied. The coffee exemplifies balance and possesses flavors of molasses, fennel, and cinnamon. This coffee falls easily into the “all day drinker” category that our customers have come to appreciate from many of our offerings.

FROM THE COFFEE COLLECTION

It has been a long time since we have offered a coffee from Panama.
