Antigua, CathedralA major earthquake in 1773 and several since have virtually destroyed this once beautiful Cathedral.

Antigua, Convent/HotelOnce a convent, now a luxurious 5 star hotel .....beautiful setting and grounds surrounding the hotel.

NicaraguaPuerto Corinto ...fishing village, ‘turning 15”, dancing for tourists, and “developing”.

NicaraguaWe took a bike/taxi to the beach ....fish cleaning, drying ....nice beach.

Costa RicaHere we chose to take a rain forest canopy tour via a system of cables and pulleys through the treetops.

Panama CanalOur ship was designed to transverse the canal ...one foot shorter and one foot narrower.

The canal is 50 miles long and includes 6 locks in each direction.

Panama CanalWe arrived early morning and it took about 12 hours to complete the transit ....26 meters above sea level.

Cost to transit ....$245,600.
