Objective The Centre is run with its full commitment in offering all sorts of treatments, promoting general health and wellbeing and preventing measures to all infectious diseases to the community living in the south-eastern part of central Toronto. The principal aim is to reach out to every resident in the community who has difficulties accessing basic health services due to the issues such as language, culture, poverty, or the lack of health insurance. Unique in its kind, the Centre focuses on the whole person, ensure physical, mental and social wellbeing of its community. With its special emphasis on restoring the family welfare, health & wellbeing of mothers and children, the Center recognizes the factors like income, education, Philosophy East End Community Health Center has mentioned that their vision is “people working together to promote health and well-being for everyone”. In accordance with this “vision”, their expert team of health professionals is indeed devoted to work in partnership with individuals, families and community groups to improve the general well-being of everyone of the community. Their professionals are ethically trained to offer cordial, compassionate and dignity-oriented treatments and behaviours to all clients. 2. Equity of Access to Health Care The Centre ensures services on the principle of all-are- equal, meaning that it is immediately responds to the needs and treatments of all clients irrespective of their financial status, educational level, age, culture, lack of insurance etc. 3. Quality Service The Centre’s policies, rules and services are upgraded on regular basis with the cutting-edge inventions in medical science and technology. Also, all kinds of feedbacks from the customers and service-users are encouraged and incorporated for further improvement. Understanding and Communication with Family

Their mission is to reach out to clients in the surrounding neighborhood who may have difficulty accessing health care due to factors such as language, culture, poverty or the lack of health insurance. In accordance with such mission statement, East End Community Health is equipped with disability-accessible doors and elevators, toilets and other facilities. Though limited in number, the center has multi-lingual communications and services available to the patients and clients. Their activities and services are clients-focused and multi-dimensional, but their logistic supports and trained professionals may not be as much as they need.

The staff consists of doctors, social workers, nurses, dieticians, podiatrists who are all well qualified in their areas.
