Donotplaceapillowbelowtheheadandalsodonotplacetheperson'sheadonsomeone'slap.
Heatstroke:Whentheheat-stressprogresses,thepulseandbreathingcanbecomefasterandweaker.Theaffectedpersonmaypassverylittleurineandthattooofadarkcolour.Insomecasesheadache,nauseaandvomitingmightalsooccur.Slowly,thepersonbecomeslethargic,drowsy,startstalkingincoherently.He/shemaynotprefertodrinkwaterevenifgiven.Skinmaybecomedryandpale.Theremightbenosweatingandthepersoncanrunaveryhighfever.
Thisisaseriousconditionandrequiresimmediateattention.Makearrangementstoshiftthepersontoahospital.Meanwhile,continuetoplaceicepacksoverthebodytorapidlycoolthebody;placeawettowelorawet-clothdippedincoldwaterovertheperson,orplaceice-packsoverthebody,orspongethepersonwiththecoolestavailablewater.

2.Takeabreakfromworkduringthehottestpartoftheday(fromabout11amto4pm).Youcancontinuelaterintheeveningafter5pm.
3.Trytostayintheshadewheneverandwhereverpossible.
4. Ifyouhavetoworkunderthedirectsun,takerestfromtimetotimeintheshadedareas.
