What a parade! Crowd believed Jesus was Messiah!

“Hosanna” in Hebrew means “Please save” or “Save now”!

Pharisees didn’t understand this parade (planned to kill)

Romans didn’t understand this parade (ridiculed)

Palms show Jesus, 1st - A rightful king, coming in the name of the Lord

Palms and ParadesPalms show Jesus, 2nd -

promised Messiah is king of covenant people Israel.

Shouting ‘hosanna!’ prayed:

-kingdom will come!-kingdom will conquer all

opposition-kingdom will continue, “Let

the king (dom) live for ever!”

Palms and ParadesCrowd meant every word,

knew meaning!Disciples didn’t understand,

followed him. Crowds didn’t understand,

spoke the truth about him. Pharisees didn’t

understand, resisted (plan to kill) him.

Romans didn’t understand...

Friday brings another parade... ...to the cross. “Where are you between the parades?”NOW all can understand the parade…Notice another parade- follow Rev. 7: 9-

Have you professed your: “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in

the name of the Lord! Blessed is MY King!”?Have you given your all to your King?Have you claimed these covenant promises

as your own and lived them to the fullest?The parade is coming: The king is coming,

and he wants you to stand with Him forever!
