Why Palmer Lake Needs Your Current Phone Numbers, Email and Address It’s important for us to have current information in order to contact the parents/guardians of Palmer Lake students. Here are just a few reasons: 1. If your child has a medical emergency or becomes sick during the school day. 2. If the District decides to close schools for the day. 3. Our weekly communication with families (The Scoop) is sent out via email each Wednesday. It contains information about events at school as well as information about programs in the community for your child to participate in. 4. A bus is running very late after school. 5. Reminders of days there is no school for students. If you have updated contact information, please call the Office at 763-561-1930. Besides being nutritious and yummy…..it’s FREE! Free to every PL student. We encourage you to have your child eat with us. Reminder: 2016-17 Palmer Lake Policy on Birthday Treats At Palmer Lake, students are not allowed to bring birthday treats to school. While this may seem like another way to squash the fun out of school, there are three reasons for this policy: 1. Many students have allergies 2. Serving and consuming treats takes critical time away from instruction 3. We simply want to promote a healthier diet. There are other, more nutritious ways to have fun in school. 4.
