    Palak Chapathi (Green Chappathi)

    Palak/Spinach Green Chappathis taste good and it is very delicious. These chappathi looks green.So I wanted to eat something green and healthy and which had some grains. Spinach is known

    as a rich source of iron. Spinach chapathi is a favourite at home. I love this green leafy

    vegetable and try to add in many dishes. The Spinach/Palak chapathi is not ust colourful! but

    flavorful and very healthy too. "ids might also love the color and its definitely a change for themfrom the regular chapathis. "ids who do not like spinach may also like these green chapathis! not

    knowing what they are eating. So its a great way to trick them.

    #ccording to the $S%#! a &'( gram serving of boiled spinach contains ).*+ mg of iron. spinach

    does contain a relatively high level of iron! compared to other vegetable and meatsources. Those adult who are animic can take this chapathi and sure improve their conditions.

    Chapathi Ingredients:

    Methd:

    &. 4oil the Spinach with little water.. cool and grind with green chilies to smooth paste

    +. 8eat the pan9 add oil to it when the oil heat up adds cumin seeds when it stops the pops.

    *. Pour the paste to the oil add Coriander powder! Gram malasa powder! Turmeric powder!

    and salt.

    sprinkle.

    '. Spinach is watery. ;ou need not add water to dough.

    04efore making chappathi you can try eating little for the taste to check everything is enough.

    #nd if you feel any of these ingredients is not enough you can add before adding t the flour.

    Try not to add too much of water! if you add too much of water the flour will be sticky. Thedough must not stick to the bowl. :ow add oil and mi1 well.2

    Methd:

    In the following! first * steps is for stuffing and the rest for making dough and Chapathi.

    &. 8eat the pan9 add oil to it when the oil heat up adds cumin seeds when it stops the pops.. #dd Chopped Cauliflower! Chilly powder! Coriander powder! Gram malasa powder!

    Turmeric powder! and salt.

    +. >ry all the ingredients well till the raw smell of the powders goes off. 0&6 minutes2

    *. #llow the stuffing to cool.

    6. :ow mi1 the flour to the above Cauliflower stuffing. The vegetable stuffing has water in

    it 0as all vegetable has water in them2! so mi1 flour and stuffing together without adding

    water. If you feel the water is not enough to make perfect dough! then add some watercarefully.

    Try not to add too much of water! if you add too much of water the flour will be sticky. The

    dough must not stick to the bowl. :ow add oil and mi1 well.

    Note: Before mixing the stuffing with the flour, taste the stuffing for the right taste. If you feel

    some ingredients are not enough, then you can add them now.

    and close it properly from all the sides.
