FROM THE DESK
In less than three days the Muslim Ummah will be celebrating the
fasting month of Ramadan. We wish a very happy Ramazan to all
of the community with a prayer that each of us has got the strength
to fast and give Zakat.
The tickets to 17th August Eid Milan are now available through
members of the management committee or by direct deposit to our
bank account on first come first serve basis. Please note thatchildren (up to primary school) are admitted free to the event if the
are accompanied by their own parents. However for the
occupational and public health requirements they will still need a
ticket to enter.
The planning for next event which will be Eidul Azha on 20 th
October is also underway. This is a project that we are involved
with a number of other organisations with city of Vincent taking a
lead role and regular updates will be provided to members of the
community.
As member of Ethnic Communities Council of WA we are also
engaged in reviewing a guide for healthcare providers related to
Muslim patients.
