1. Works are taking place to deepen the Khalifa Port Basin in position 24° 48´·60N., 54° 39´·50E.

2. The port and its approach channel will remain fully operational for the duration of the works.

3. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the area and to contact the local port authority for the latest information.

111(P)/18 DJIBOUTI - Lights. Buoyage. Leading line. Automatic Identification Systems.

1. New Aids to navigation within Ghoubbet El Kharab have been established, in connection with the opening of the port of Ghoubbet.

2. The character of charted light-beacon BLRG, in position 11° 33´·227N., 42° 40´·916E. has been changed to Q.R. AIS established.

Racon(G) remains.

3. The position of charted light-beacon BLVG has changed to 11° 33´·339N., 42° 40´·865E.. The light character has changed to Q.G.

AIS established.

4. Eight virtual AIS buoys have been established in the following positions:

159/18. ARABIAN SEA. Oman. Due to Mekunu Tropical Cyclone, the hydrographic survey data shown minor impact in depths for

port berths and dredged areas. Mariners holding Oman charts are advised to navigate with caution and keep close contact with

port control when entering and leaving. Port authorities are working to regain all port capabilities where charts updation will be

published after all port maintenance completed.
