R anbir Kapoor does not have aPR person, is not on social me-dia and tries his best to guard

his private life as much as he can. Heloves the movies and wants just hiswork to speak for him. But he is also asuperstar and one whom the medialoves to write and speculate about. Forthe very first time, he talks exclusive-ly to the us about the status of the Sanjay Dutt biopic and how he is yet not engaged to his lady-love Katri-

na Kaif. Excerpts:Are you playing Sanjay Dutt in RajuHirani’s biopic of him?Mr Hirani has spoken to me about mak-ing Sanjay Dutt’s biopic and that is veryexciting to me. Sanjay Dutt has beenfamily to me and I have been a fan ofhis. He is the only one whose poster Ihad in my cupboard. My sister hadSalman Khan’s poster and I had San-jay Dutt’s. And while playing SanjayDutt will be exciting for me,Mr Hiranihas not confirmed that to me yet. RajuHirani is not a director who you can

keep calling and asking, if that film ishappening or not. Will Raju Hirani be directing it?Yes. Biopics are tricky. When you announce it, it sounds fine, but tomake a film on a celebrity with a largebody of work is very hard. You can’tdo birth to death. There have to be cer-tain chapters of his life that are en-gaging, that have to be flagpole moments of a person’s life that need tobe captured.
