To view the product videos using the QR codes in this catalog, you first need a QR-code app and a smartphone or tablet equipped with a camera. Simply search for a QR Code reader in the app store and download any one of the popular QR Code Reader apps. They are normally free to download.

When you launch your app of choice, you’ll see that your phone’s camera is activated, with an on-screen framing guide. Line up the camera on your device with the QR code you want to scan, and hold the device steady until the app can read the code in front of it. You will be directed to a new product landing page with the video shown first. Simply click on the video and watch.

Reflecting back on 2013, Tippmann had a number of exciting new product introductions. For markers, we introduced the Crossover XVR, the Alpha Black Elite, and the Cronus, three markers that fit the needs of almost any type of player. On the accessories side, we introduced the dual pane Intrepid goggle and the very realistic Big Boy grenade. These new products have been very popular. We continue to manufacture the industry’s best products right here in Indiana. Also, I am very proud of our support for the many big games around the world including the Tippmann World Challenge and over 100 other events worldwide. I look forward to continuing to support events in 2014. The obvious big news in 2013 was the acquisition of Tippmann by G.I. Sportz. Bringing these two companies together will create a one-stop shop for our dealers and fields, the best paintballs, best markers, best goggles, and best service, all from one company. Richmond Italia will be our Chairman and CEO and I will continue as President of Tippmann Sports. The ownership of Tippmann is back into paintball, which is great for our sport and the industry. Among the major trends you will see in 2014, are an expanded interest in magfed and the resurgence of .50 caliber. We know many players have been hoping that Tippmann will enter the magfed world beyond the TiPX pistol. We saw the opportunity, and created a better magfed marker that will appeal to a much wider audience of players. To make this happen, we are excited to

launch the new magfed Tactical Compact Rifle or simply the TCR, which is featured up front in this catalog. We plan to develop the magfed category to be bigger and more exciting for players and fields. The .50 caliber growth is something that will fuel the international markets as paintball continues to grow on a worldwide basis. With the GI acquisition of Tippmann, we see synergies that can support the growth of this category that will help fields expand their player base. There are many other additions in the 2014 catalog including new color options for select markers and accessories, and a new line of Tippmann harnesses and soft goods. Although we are continuing to sell the NXe Elevation line, we felt it was time to expand our Tippmann soft goods line to support our growing woodsball business. Finally, you will notice a slight change to the layout of our catalog. To emphasize our expanding marker line we have put all markers in the front separated into Magfed markers and pistols, Performance markers, Tactical markers, our U.S. Army line or TPN items for our International markets, and finally our value priced line of Recreational Markers. These items are followed by marker upgrades and mods, general accessories and our popular laser tag business, which continues to grow every year. Once again, I personally want to thank you for your continued support and look forward to a strong 2014.
