The list is not a comprehensive list and does not include individual pain physician practices. Most insurance plans are accepted unless otherwise noted; however, the consumer should verify insurance coverage individually. Many, and perhaps even most, of the Pain Clinics or Centers require a physician referral from the primary care physician. There are a wide variety of services and interventions offered at different clinics and even locations of the same clinic (many web sites will have the most current information about what is offered at the desired clinic and location). There are currently no inpatient facilities in Massachusetts for pain management. Information listed below is up-to-date as of January 2018.
