Manufactured in light aluminium alloy, with an inner area of 24 m², the 20ft expandable shelter is homologated to be transported on a C130, on roads, according to CSC regulations, and on tactical military vehicles (APS, ASTRA). Designed for a prompt use in extreme environmental conditions (-40°C ÷ +55°C), it’s operative in just 80 minutes, both on the ground and on wheeled vehicles. The shelter has an independent auto-levelling and unload system. Its fittings are ergonomic and designed according to MIL-STD-1472F regulations. .

“Non Operative” Configuration MAIN STRUCTURE The unit is composed of 3 modules made up of a fixed main body (C.C.) and two expandable modules, with a total surface of about 24 m² in operational mode. The shelter has two halls (doors), one of them being the “emergency exit”. A high structural and environmental resistance and an effective electromagnetic shielding against interferences assure safety and protection, assuring a high standard of technology and performance. SHELTER LIFTING SYSTEM This system allows the lifting of the whole unit from 0 level to 1,65m at least, to ease the charge/removal on/from the vehicles used to transport it. Its main feature is autolevelling; the rigging is assured in rough areas within a maximum limit of 3°. The lifting system is composed of 4 electromechanical/oleo legs, controlled by a command and control unit and a button strip.

TRANSPORTABILITY A) LOADING ON C130 AIRCRAFT The shelter is homologated to be loaded on C130 aircrafts autonomously and to keep safety despite the possible accelerations during the flight; it can also resist to an impulsing charge of 9 g in the flight direction due to a possible emergency landing of a C130 aircraft. Loading kit provided. B) LOADING ON MILITARY VEHICLES Its dimensions and features allow a transport on tactical vehicles such as APS or ASTRA 6X6, installing some twist locks at the angles of the shelter to fix the unit. The twist locks conform to ISO 1168 regulations. C) LOADING ON FLATCARS The shelter is suitable to be transported on flatcars which conform to standard ISO 668 regulations and is homologated according CSC (it’s provided with the related number plate).

D) LOADING ON TRAINS AND SHIPS The shelter can be transported on trains and ships. INTERNAL CONFIGURATION Internal configurations can be manufactured according to the several kind of system. KINDS OF CONFIGURATIONS:

BASIC STRUCTURE The 20ft Shelter is made up to panels with a sandwich structure which consists of two aluminum sheets with interposed a panel of self-extinguishing polyurethane foam. At the top, which heads the panel, are No. 8 ISO blocks. The impermeability is guaranteed by the perimetric welds, the use of watertight rivets and beads of sealant on all exterior surfaces. All the walls that constitute the Shelter have the same construction technology and materials that form the sandwich panels are self-extinguishing characteristics. High structural strength to efficient and integrated environmental electromagnetic interference shielding, give shelter to the security features and protection that are the background of a context of high technology and performance. LIFTING SYSTEM The Lifting system allows the lift the Shelter to an height not less than 1,65 m from the ground, (for the self loading) to guarantee a self-leveling. TRANSPORTABILITY A) LOADING ON C130 AIRCRAFT The shelter is homologated for self-loading on C130 aircraft with high security features to accelerations that occur in different flight conditions, in particular, can withstand a shock loading of 9 g in the direction of flight resulting from an emergency landing of a C130 aircraft type. Technical features The complex has the main feature to work in two ways: Operation Way Way in which the Shelter is operating, and can be used in all its main functions, as will be described more specifically in the terms of use. Not-Operating Way When the shelter is not operative, and is used for carrying or as storage, with the following peculiarities: • Trasportability on flat container port, in compliance with CSC Regulation • Transportable by rail and ship (UIC and RINA) • Transportability on military and tactical vehicles (ACTL4X4 e APS95) • Transportability on aircraft (type C130), in pressurized compartment and not, capable of

loading / unloading without the use of Key-loader and structural features and accessories supplied to guarantee their anchorage on the aircraft floor.

The cabin of the shelter has a very strong frame-set and it's made up with an EMC Technology. Power Station in container, was designed and built to be used in the "Landing Force on the Navy to meet the special needs arising from the use field outside the area in expected environmental conditions. The Shelter has a structure that combines functional autonomy, total mobility to ensure timely intervention, rapid deployment, safety of staff and user ease of use.

Also:

• capable of ensuring, in operating configuration, the delivery of the highest rated in the environmental conditions of employment provided;

• suitable to operate to the ground, on solid-bottom, without any preparation and under the conditions imposed by the various situations logistics operational requirements below;

• maintenance, repair and maintained without major difficulties;

• Easy to use, weight and dimensions to the standard ISO1C.

• with "CSC certification for safety"(Law No. 67 and February 3, 1979 DPR, June 4, 1997 No 448) and "UIC approval for international rail transport".

The structure of the shelter is designed and built to withstand without failure the following stresses due to:

— Stacking of n.2 ISO 1C containers laden;

— Overload of snow at least 100 daN/m2

— handling and transport and lifting, as well as the system of lifting and loading platforms of its roll-off (even by CHU), with a mobile crane or a forklift equipped with adequate capacity spreader;

— airlift with C-130J aircraft.

The shelter is suitable for transporting with: - Train ( in accordance with normal procedures used for the ISO standard

container class 1C ) - Ship (in accordance with normal procedures used for the ISO standard

container class 1C) with a maximum stacking shelter weighing not more than 8000kg.

- Truck with platform equipped with Twist Look. - Airplane C130J through loading kit The P.S. can be handled by using, in addition to the system of lifting and loading platforms of its roll-off, the device CHU (Container. Handling Unit) a mobile crane or a forklift equipped with a suitable "spreader”.

LIFTING SYSTEM The system allows the lifting of the complex from zero level to a height not less than 1.65 m above the ground for loading and removal from the platforms of transport vehicles. The distinctive feature is the self-leveling, the leveling of the complex is provided in areas that are not level up to a maximum of 3°. The lifting system consists of four legs of electromechanical and controlled by a unit control and keypad. ELECTRIC SYSTEM The electrical system installed in the shelter is performed in accordance and provides an energy input (via external Z-Panel, which includes the power outputs) and a control and protection electrical panel accessed outside of the shelter and protected by cover hinged. The electrical panel shall ensure to control both the switching network 380Vac/Group 150KVA that to control lighting inside and various services. S-788 TYPE III TACTICAL COMMUNICATION SHELTER

P/N 5387.SH.14.0001 Description

This Shelter PN 5387.SH.14.0001 is based on Lightweight Multipurpose Shelter S-788 Type III (with tunnel) base container (N.U.C. 5411-01-235-5055) and is to be fitted with an integral H.V.A.C. (Air Conditioning System) PN 5387.CZ.01.0009 and Generating Set Assy PN 5387.SA.01.0027.

The Shelter is designed to be integrated to and match payload of the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). The Shelter is designed to be lightweight, transportable, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) shielded, HMMWV mounted tactical rigid wall shelter, designed to accommodate Lithuanian Army C41 systems and be easily configurable for system integrators). This shelter is normally mounted on a HMMWV for transportation. To enhance comfortable internal liveability, the positioning of the equipments is designed and realized in conformance to the MIL-STD-1472F Standard with particular attention to handling area , practicality, simplicity to use. Internal and external installation of equipment and wiring is in accordance with European Union safety and electromagnetic/radio interference avoidance standards and laws.

The Shelter is designed to provide an appropriate grounding solution, which includes main grounding clamp and internal grounding bus to provide grounding to power supply system and all internal equipment.

The Shelter is designed to provide shock and vibrations protection to all internally and externally installed equipment.

The Shelter exterior and all externally mounted equipment and parts is painted with the same colour (RAL 6031 in accordance with STANAG 4360) CARC. The Shelter is supplied with the shelter access ladder (on the main door) and the roof access steps.

Design and construction of the Shelter and all its exterior parts ensures its operation in the temperature range -30°C to +50°C.

The Shelter has a generator with slides fitting and mounted in the internal tunnel (to facilitate the maintenance). The generator design provides the possibility to start the generator from the shelter either locally via control panel switch and utilizing the Genset Main Control Panel.

Description The Shelter can be powered both via external network at 220 Vac single phase, than to be connected with a cable to the external Z-Panel, and by a Generator set located in the tunnel.

• Inside the shelter after the Z-panel is located a Main Control Panel, equipped of circuit breakers and residual current, for the lighting system control, and electric utilities. A Commutation equipment between, “generator” and “shore power” sources with “power off” selector position in the middle.

ELECTRICAL SWITCHBAORD The Switchboard is designed for operation inside the shelter and it is composed by :

1. 220Vac Section 2. 220Vac no-break Section 3. 28Vdc Section

220 Vac Section This section contains the protected commutation circuit (through F1 and F2 fuses) to activate External shore Power (220VAC) or Genset Power. This choice in indicated by status led (GENSET ON or SHORE POWER ON). Both electrical lines are protected with magneto-thermal breakers CB1 and CB2. Voltage, Current and Frequency are measured by SM.1, SM.2 indicators (protected by F3 fuse). The CB3 general Breaker (for 220Vac users) is differential type, instead UPS (CB4), H.V.AC. (CB5), 220Vac Sockets (CB6), Ceiling Light 1(CB10) have a magneto-thermal breaker. . 220 Vac no-break section This Section manages electrical supply deriving from UPS output (220Vac) located on

12U rack (it assures electrical continuity to AC/DC Converter, 220Vac No-Break socket, Ceiling Light 2, when missing power supply) . There’s a general differential breaker (CB7) and magneto-thermal breakers dedicated to AC/DC Converter (CB8), 220Vac No-Break socket (CB18), Ceiling Light 2 (CB9). . 28 Vdc Section This Section manages 28Vdc electrical supply deriving from AC/DC Converter output. There’s a Voltmeter (SM.3) and Ammeter (SM.4) protected by F4 fuse. For every connected users there’s a magneto-thermal breaker ( VHF 1 (CB11), VHF 2 (CB12), VHF 3 (CB13), VHF 4 (CB14), 28Vdc sockets (CB15), HF 1 (CB16), HF 2 (CB17)). The electrical switchboard manages also the light automatic commutation (white/blue lamps)

when opening shelter door (black-out mode). When you close the door the white lights (Ceiling Light 1 e Ceiling Light 2) switch on and after 4 seconds the blue light switch off. To deactivate this automatic system, switch S1 deviator on I position

UPS This system supplies the internal equipments when missing the external shore power or genset power. Ups system contains a UPS and various expandable battery packs, sized for 1 hour autonomy at 2000W max (220Vac 50Hz 1P), The 220 Vac No-Break Output is connected to CB7 general breaker located inside Electrical Switchboard.

AC/DC CONVERTER 28Vdc 100A The AC/DC Converter is supplied directly by electrical switchboard (AC MAINS 230V AC) using No-break line. A 28 Vdc output 100 A is supplied by

two converter (28VDC 50A) connected in parallel form ; There are also nr. 2 fans protected by a proper fuse. To control the converter there is a power switch on front panel; you can see its correct operating through PS1 and PS2 status led.

Every 2 months clean air aspiration filters places on front panel. The 28Vdc output is connected to F5 general breaker positioned on Shelter electrical switchboard.

Z-PANEL GE (Tunnel) Interfaces inside shelter with the Generating Set. Contains the following connections:

1) GENSET REMOTE CONTROL (Y2); 2) SINGLE PHASE 220 VAC INPUT (Y1);

All of telephone signal TELEPHONE – OPTICAL FIBRE (TEL1 , TEL2, TEL3, TEL4,) positioned on external Z-PANEL and duplex optical fibre connector OF1 (SC Duplex), OF2(ST Duplex) are connected to related connectors situated on TELEPHONE - OPTICAL FIBRE patch panel (on Rack RF-22U, inside the shelter). INTERNAL FITTING OPERATOR’ S SEATS Two operator’s seats with safety belts are installed within the Shelter. Each seat is capable of 360° swivel rotation (with possible fixation), adjustable tilting tension for different sizes of users, lockable in an upright or tilted position.

Each seat is clamped to strips on the floor (able to move along the shelter and to be fixed in a desired place).

KIT C-RAIL The cork strips are installed on the kerbside wall. The cork strips are used for whiteboard or similar items (2 C-rail).. COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENTS Inside the Shelter on the roadside wall are mounted 2 (two) 19 inches 24 units racks. These racks includes shock and vibrations protection dampers. Each rack kit includes four adjustable shelves. A Rack includes a RF connection patch panel, whereas in the other there is the AC/DC Converter.

CONDITIONING SYSTEM (H.V.A.C.) The Air Conditioner command and control panel is located inside the shelter (under genset remote control panel). The main functions of the Air conditioner are described below: • VENTILATION: provides a ventilation into the Shelter. Enable only the evaporator fan, regardless of the temperature setting on the thermostat. • HEATING: Allows to heat the temperature inside the shelter, and if the temperature inside of the Shelter setted is higher than the temperature signed on the thermostat, the heating elements are indicated with a LED "HEATING”. If the regulated temperature on the thermostat is lower than the temperature inside of the Shelter, only the (FAN) Ventilation will operate. • COOLING SYSTEM: Allows to cool the temperature inside the shelter. If the temperature setted on the thermostat is lower than the internal temperature, the internal circuit cooling will start and the temperature will go down. The operativity of the compressor is indicated with a (YELLOW) LED "COOLING". If the regulated temperature on the thermostat is higher than the temperature inside of the Shelter, the system control turn off the compressor, keeping on only the (FAN) Ventilation. • AUTOMATIC: With this select mode , the thermostat regulate the temperature inside of the Shelter, Turning on the electric resistance heating (If the regulated temperature on the thermostat is higher than the temperature inside of the Shelter) or switch on the compressor (If the temperature setted on the thermostat is lower than the internal temperature).

ISO 20FT MOBILE FIELD WORKSHOP SHELTER

DESCRIPTION

The shelter can be defined a mobile pitched refuge created to house men and equipment. It 'essentially consists of a base module (rectangular length of 20 feet) of high structural strength. The complex was designed with the aim to serve as a mobile workshop Pitched P / N 5387.SH.12.0001, with fittings and equipment suitable to perform various mechanical workings, in a location livable, comfortable, multi-functional and air conditioned. The shelter is painted with ivory paint color RAL 1014.

Features The complex has the main feature of work in two ways: Operating Mode The Shelter is operating, and can be used in all its main functions, as will be described more specifically in the chapter’s of use. Non-Operating Mode The shelter is not operational, and is used for carrying or storage, with the following peculiarities: • Transportability on container trailer, in compliance to the CSC Rules • Transportability by Railway and Ship (UIC and RINA) • Transportability on tactical military vehicles type ACTL4X4 e APS95 • Transportability on aircraft (type C130), in pressurized compartment and not, capable of

loading / unloading without the use of Key-loader, with structural features and accessories kit to ensure the fixing on the aircraft platform.

• Stacking n° 2 container in logistics configuration, more overload of snow at least 250 daN/m • Lift with the sling rope supplied, connected to the upper corner fittings, with an 2g

acceleration • Movement through spreader with 2g vertical acceleration • Movement with fork lift truck with an acceleration of 1.6 g, and loading / unloading via CHU

device on APS. • Helicopter transport to the CFI-47 helicopter hoist hook

INTERNAL CONFIGURATION The Shelter is built in fully welded frame, with insulated cladding panels, and consists of:

1. Two rooms (one large about 2 / 3 of the Arrange internal) equipped for the work area access from the front door and the other (remaining area of about 1 / 3) used for storage and access from the inner door that contains the air conditioner and shelf;

2. A compartment containing the generator, the compressor and the storage of accessory kit, access from outside front side grid;

3. A access door with two leaves on the "head" at the room working with panic bar inside; 4. Side windows for natural light and air; 5. An electrical system for power sockets and lighting; 6. A system of compressed air production and distribution; 7. An air conditioning system with hot / cold monoblock, on skid extractable, and door with security lock; 8. A generator set of electric power production; 9. An electric fan on lateral wall for air recycle; 10. Technical equipment (desks, shelving, machinery, tools, etc...); 11. Small parts and various work equipment (grinder, vise, drill press etc..)

FURNITURE The furniture installed in the shelters, are designed with the aim of facilitate the operations of work being provided for a variety of machine tools, equipments and fittings supplied.

Specifically, are present in the working chamber:

• Workbench with three drawers in height about 150 mm. such heavy, cumbersome tool, more then bottom tray shelf. Top coated wood with sheet 20/10. Size: approx 2500 x 700 x 850 (h) mm.

• Desk with drawers with dividers. Top coated wood with and rubber rimmed. Steel vise of swivel type. Size: approx 2000 x 700 x 8 mm.

• Tool panel on the wall of the bench drawers, is mounted in a perforated metal panel, complete of bottom shelf, suitable to store hand tools during the operation. The panel is fixed to the wall with screws on threaded inserts for the best guarantee of sealing during transportation. Size: about 900x150x800 (h).

Specifically, are present in the storehouse chamber:

• Shelving galvanized steel or painted, made no 4 corner posts, to support No 5 open shelves, with a shape of a "bath" with adjustable height. At least two of those shelves and are completed with extractable modular containers (plastic strong) for storage of smaller items. All properly positioned and fixed structures to withstand these conditions of carriage. Size: approx 1200 x 500 x 2000 (h) mm.

ELECTRICAL FITTINGS The electrical system has been designed in accordance with CEI currently in force and meets the requirement set by the Ministerial Decree 37/2008 (Ex Law No. 46/90) on security for staff. Input to the Shelter located on the exterior near the front door there is the Z-PANEL Energy (protected with a door closure) that acts as an interface for connection of the energy sources; The power for lighting and services, is provided at the complex by external sources (network or power) or from the generating set supplied with voltage at 50 Hz 380/220V, AC GENERAL ELECTRIC PANEL Downstream of the Z-Panel is the Main control panel, double-insulated type with degree of protection IP 44, installed in place in a position close to entry, at the Z panel outside the inner wall of the left. On panel is expected to automatic selector switch to the commutation of a external mains/GE to internal generator.

Turning on the electric panel is controlled by a 4-way SELECTOR SWITCH:

0 / MAINS / INTERNAL G.E. / AUTOMATIC.

GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL The control box of the Generator set is placed inside the shelter in the storehouse used compartment and uses a microprocessor control unit for command and control of the group. On a control panel, there are also indicator lights for any anomalies.

CONDITIONING PLANT Inside the Shelter, in the storehouse, is located the air conditioner. The air is conveyed with canalization into the work area.

AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES:

• Grounding Kit, consisting of no 4 earth rod vertical Leng. = 1 m, and cable for connection between plant earth leakage and mass of the container, through the prisoners, predisposed on n.2 opposite edges of the lower chassis of container.

• Switchboard pitched, for outside processing, with protection and sockets with 5m of cable. The power leads from the main electric panel, where protection regulations will be prepared for the power line (see photo attached).

• Inspection lamp, with plug suitable for the type of sockets installed. The bag with the accessories of smaller size and case with the technical manuals have to find accommodation in an internal appropriate containers.

• Tool box containing a set of tools necessary for making the routine maintenance on the field.

• chain sling, complete with wire ropes and accessories (hooks, shackles, etc..) suited to the size (with safety factor of 6) for lifting by crane truck;

• No 4 spotlights, for illuminating the outdoor with connection for corner block.

KOMETA® FIELD LIGHTING SYSTEM

The "KOMETA® SYSTEM" trailer-mounted field lighting

system has been designed and manufactured by TELEGI

srl according to the ISO9001:2000 and NATO AQAP-

2110 requirements.

This Field Lighting System is usually used in International

AREA Field Operations to satisfy the immediate lighting

logistic need, with high reliability and an easy field

operativeness, in extreme environmental working conditions

(-32 °C ÷ +55 °C, Hauling approval on road and off road). The

system achieves its purpose by giving electrical power and

essentially high intensity lighting in a large area, with easy and

rapid maneuverability. To obtain a quick logistic movement

and an operative speed installation, the " Kometa® system "

has been built on a one axle trailer with stabilizers and an

adjustable rudder to assure an on-road and off-road hauling,

with vehicles having different capabilities and hooking

MOTORBIKE HELMET WITH “PHELIVOX®” SYSTEM

Technical Description

This modular helmet has been designed to satisfy the user’s operative needs of communication by means of his inboard radio, both while driving and at a distance up to 100 m from the motorbike, thanks to the innovative “Phelivox®” system, which uses bluetooth technology without any need of connection radio- helmet. The bluetooth autopowered system (without cable) allows to make local bidirectional communications suitably codified to avoid interferences both during the transmission and the reception.

General technical features:

The system is composed of: 1. PHELIVOX 1000M (1) small-sized master module

mounted on the motorbike side is connected to the inboard equipment and is powered by the motorbike itself.

2. PHELIVOX 1000S pocket module Slave (2) put on the helmet side, powered by a rechargeable battery, is small-sized, it can be even carried in a pocket.

3. The adapter cable MOTO – MASTER MODULE MM-100 (3) is used for the connection to the inboard equipment.

4. The adapter cable helmet-module slave CS-100 (4) is for the connection to the helmet

The operative capacity between the two modules is about 100 m around the motorbike. The peculiar feature of the PHELIVOX® system is the complete compatibility with the interphone system through the cable, that allows to pass from the radio link to the cable and viceversa. Accessories

- X2 CS-50 battery charger with double output for slave module (input 220Vca 50Hz).

In alternative to the use of the integrated communication system in the helmet by means of the CS-100 cable, it is suggested to use the communication system composed as follows: AL-200 (4b) assembly It is composed of laringophone and earphone with an highly comfortable P.T.T. (push to talk) switch included (see photo) replacing the CS-100 cable.

• ideal to be completely independent from the helmet, it’s used when the need for a connection to the inboard radio arises, even though the pilot is not wearing the helmet;

• The possible option is the replacement of the CS-100 cable with the AL-200 assembly;

• The use of AL-200 allows to keep an ear available for further functions (connection to mobile, hearing of external

noises) and an appreciable decrease in noises caused by the wind blowing on the standard microphone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
