LATINO POETRY CONTESTAn evening of reading poems and announcing the winning poets capped the Library's Inaugural Latino Poetry Contest in late November. This first award ceremony took place at RPL's Foundation Headquarters at 113 South 4th Street. The contest entries represented the diversity of our community in subject and style, and the top three poems in both the English and Spanish categories were recognized. Each winning poet read his or her poem to an appreciative audience of family and friends.
