MY DAD

I watched my dadthe medicine mandoing rituals,

ceremonies, sweat lodges, and feasts for Mother Earth. Often

he took Mom and me to Sun Dances where he would sing all

day and all night. Because he was born during a Sun Dance

he was given that name by my uncles. I always remember my

dad as a very spiritual person, always honoring the creation

but not the Creator. I witnessed all of this while growing up.

I was also very fortunate to witness Dads conversion to

Christianity and to see the great changes that God made in

his lifeall for the better and all for the Lord Jesus Christ.

FOREWORD

Adolphus Kootenay is a man who has been a member of

two groupsone that follows Indian Religion and one that

follows God and the teaching of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

He has seen Gods power at work setting people freehimincluded. He has also seen the deceiver at work destroying

peoplea deceiver that is willing to manifest himself through

any of Gods creations in order to destroy the relationship

between someone and God.

In this book Adolphus Kootenay provides reports and

testimonies of the power of both God and the prince of the

power of the air (Satan). Growing up in Indian Religion gives

Kootenay insights into the spirit world that few have seen or

even imagined.

Because of his great insight into the working of thespirit worldboth Gods and Satansthis book will be of

great benet for many, especially to those who are already

in Satans grasp and those who seek ways to set Satans

prisoners free.

The assembly of the stories and testimonies in this book

has been a time-consuming endeavor but the insights that I

have obtained into the character of Adolphus Kootenay has

made it all a joy. His stories and testimonials provide many

glimpses into the ways the enemy works in our midst. Lest we

be caught napping, we must recognize that the schemes of the

enemy can ensnare any of usnot just our Native brothers

and sisters. We all need to heed the messages contained in

this book.

I applaud Adolphus Kootenay for all the work he has

invested in this book. I trust that you will nd it as interesting

and valuable as I have.

This compilation of stories has come about through the

efforts of many and these are the ones I want to thank.

First and foremost I would like to thank God Almighty

for His awesome power as the Most High God, the Creator

of Heaven and Earth and to whom I bow down. I worship

no one else or nothing else as God.

In the twelfth verse of the rst chapter of Galatians

the Apostle Paul wrote, For I neither received it of man,

neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus

Christ.

That is also my testimony. It is only His loving

kindness, His mercy, His grace and His kind and gentle

Holy Spirit that have inspired this book in its entirety. He

wrote it through me.

No one could answer the questions I was asking

pertaining to my Indian Religion. Preachers, teachers, and

Bible scholars couldnt help me unravel the mysteries of thespirit world in which I was so deeply involved before I met

Jesus Christ. Then the day came when God spoke through

me and then directed me to the scriptures for answers. This

is how this book was written. Thank you, Jesus!

My late wife Marie Rose had a great deal to do with getting

me started with the writing of this book. Indeed, this book

tells much of her story, too. It was also through my wife Marie

that I met Warren and Lois Hathaway.

They were very much involved in the preparation of this

book and for encouraging and exhorting me to keep writing.Often Warren phoned me to say, Well, brother, I nished

typing that last batch of writing you gave me. I am waiting

for the next batch. How are you coming? Those phone calls

spurred me to continue and nish whatever I had left of the

small stack of notes I had. Thank you, Warren and Lois.

I also would like to thank my newly wedded wife Mary

Ann for helping me type, re-word some mistakes, crossing the

MY SONG OF TESTIMONY

Bound by spiritual chains of time

Covenants to Satan were made, sealed and signed.

This bondage came through my parents bloodline,

Satan for years said of me, This man is mine.

Thats before Jesus said to me, My son, come and dine.

Then I looked to Christ on high

I heard an evil cry of a spirit that left out of me.

I felt so good deep inside, I feel that I could y

Cause I knew the blood of Jesus Christ has set me

free.

When my ancestors were dispersed by God from the tower

And along with them came this deceiving evil power.

This bondage started way back at the Garden with Eve.

Since then he has deceived many, and just wont leave

Still visiting the iniquities of fathers upon their children.

Now Im free from all captivity,And now I know for sure where Ill spend eternity.

of stories in much the same way. They will declare that this

older man had a shape change and turned himself into a

mooseprobably just to tease his young brother-in-law. But

it backred on him.

The woman who told me this story was a believer in

Christ. After she told me all of this she asked me, Is this what happened? Can these people actually change into

animal shapes? I said, Yes, they can. Then she continued,

So, do you, a former medicine man, think and agree with the

answer these medicine men and women gave? Is it accurate?

I hesitated for just a moment before I answered her. Thats

when I heard this still, small voice say to me. No, it wasnt.

It was mind control. The young man was used in this case

because he was young and naive. He was used as part of the

curse.

Mind control is used to cloud the mind. It makes you

do things that you dont normally do, and say things you

dont normally say, feel things (your emotions) you dont

normally feel, and can also completely take over your mind

where you black out and still keep doing things and walking

around aimlessly. Or it can draw you to whatever it pleases.

In this case they used witchcraft to make this young man

think he saw a moose. His mind was distorted. He was under

the control of the spirit world. I keep repeating this verse of

Scripture in John 10:10, He (the devil) came to kill, steal,

and destroy.

I would like to touch on a little bit on mind control here.Like Ive been saying, my brother-in-law taught me so

much on how to survive out in the wilderness. These are the

times he would tell me stories while we are by a re outside

or inside a cabin, always we would be skinning hides of

fur-bearing animals, stretching and drying them, getting

them prepared for the fur buyers. He also taught me how to

contract work, how much a mile, how much per acre, how

much a load, how much per hour, etc.
