ALLEGANY — The SPCA in Cattaraugus County will hold the annual “Give the Dog a Bone Tour” on Saturday and Sunday at Allegany Firemen’s Park. The rain-or-shine event will start at noon each day and feature live music, food, vendors and camping, which is a new feature. The event kicks off with a dice run on both days with registration at 10 a.m. and the ride beginning at 11:30 a.m. Registration is $15 per rider and includes entry into the event on both days. Organizers said 14 area bands will take the stage throughout the weekend and include Oliverio, Witch Hazel, Screamin Lou, The Dredneks, Roll the Dice, Applejack, Fracture, Coyote Moon, He Said/ She Said, and Blindside. Other events include a Pound Pong Tournament which starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, fol- lowed at 2 p.m. with the Pampered Pooch Pageant. There will also be raffles, food, beverages, a variety of vendors and a giant yard sale. Pre-sale tickets are $5 per person and two-day event buttons are $10. Those who purchase the two-day event buttons will be entered in drawings to win numerous prizes that include a cruise for two.
