JALANDHAR, JUL 20 (UNI) Youth wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday asked the district administration to book the leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the congress for violating lockdown norms of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks and gathering of more than five people at a single place to check the spread of Covid-19.Mr. Taran Deep Sunny, President, youth wing of the party for Doaba zone alleged that the administration had been adopting double standards for taking action against the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and those of Congress and the SAD.He said leaders of the SAD recently held a press conference at a hotel in which all the leaders of the SAD were seen addressing the mediapersons without masks and defying the norm of social distancing. Similarly an MLA of the congress party invited mediapersons to a hotel where packets of ration were stored, where more than fifty workers and leaders of the party were present but they were neither booked for violating the lockdown norms nor were they given any kind of warning.

GAURAV GOELCHANDIGARH, JULY 20

Punjab Chief Minister CaptainAmarinder Singh on Mondayasked Akali chief Sukhbir Badalto stop shedding crocodile tearsover the plight of the farmers, whose very existence was threat-ened by the farm ordinancespassed by the central governmentwith the support of his party.

Having given its full backingto the ordinances, which wereclearly the first step towardselimination of the MSP regime, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)had lost all locus standii to evenpretend to care about the farm-ers, whose condition had deteri-orated to abysmal levels undertheir rule, said CaptainAmarinder.

Sukhbir should not forgetthat as Union Minister, his wifeand SAD leader Harsimrat KaurBadal, was part of the Cabinetmeeting that stamped its ap-proval on the ordinances thatwill totally destroy Punjab’sfarming community, he added.

Ridiculing the SAD presi-dent’s offer to lead a delegationof farmer organisations to seekclarification from the Centre onMSP, the Chief Minister said itwas evident that Sukhbir was to-tally disconnected from theground situation. The Chief Min-ister pointed out that the ordi-

nances, that were completelyagainst India’s federal structure, were in line with the recommen-dations of the Shanta Kumarcommittee, which had also sug-gested dismantling the MSPstructure. Having implementedthe recommendation on the ordi-nances, the inference was logicalthat the MSP elimination wouldsoon follow, he said, adding thatSukhbir was conveniently choos-ing to ignore that in order to pro-tect the interests of SAD, in par-ticular his own and his wife’s in-terests.

No purpose will be solvednow by Sukbir pretending con-cern about the farmers, whose in-terests his own party was instru-mental in damaging by being an

active supporter of the ordi-nances, said Captain Amarinder.Left with no defence for SAD’santi-farmer and anti-Punjab ac-tions, Sukhbir was not tryingdesperately to save face with hisoffer, said the Chief Minister.Having been repeatedly cheatedby the central government, which has failed to take a singleinitiative to protect the farmers’interests in the past six years, neither the farmers nor their rep-resentative organisations had anytrust now in their assurances, said Captain Amarinder.

Sukhbir does not even seemto know that Punjab’s farmer or-ganisations had already protestedopenly against the ordinances, which they also found to be com-

pletely anti-farmer and designedto pave the way for ending theMSP procurement regime, saidCaptain Amarinder.

In the circumstances, anypromise or clarification on thepart of the Union AgricultureMinistry would be meaninglessunless they withdraw the ordi-nances to show that they trulyhad the interests of the farmers atheart, he added. Flaying the SADfor their double standards, whichhad been manifest on many is-sues in recent months, includingthe CAA, the Chief Ministerasked why Sukhbir was not with-drawing his party’s support tothe BJP-led government at theCentre if the was really con-cerned about the farmers.

Bringing down elected govtwith money is treachery: SenaAGENCYMUMBAI, JUL 20

Phone tapping is an "assault" onpersonal freedom and bringingdown a democratically-electedgovernment using money amountsto "treachery" with theConstitution, the Shiv Sena saidon Monday referring to theRajasthan political crisis. It needsto be decided which one of these isa bigger crime, an editorial in ShivSena mouthpiece 'Saamana' said, claiming the Rajasthan telephonetapping episode has "exposed"many. It said a lot of revelationwill come to the fore in casesomeone hears secretly theconversations among Congressleaders and those (conversations)reach party leader Rahul Gandhi'sears, and claimed some people arehell-bent to not let the WayanadMP work properly. This, in effect, hurts the entire opposition, theShiv Sena said. However, theMaharashtra BJP said the UddhavThackeray-led party, whichentered into an unholy alliancewith the NCP and Congressallegedly for power, has no right tospeak on these issues.

The Shiv Sena's comments in'Saamana' came in the wake of theCentre seeking a report fromRajasthan chief secretary onallegations of phone tapping aftertwo audio clips of conversationspurportedly regarding aconspiracy to topple the statesCongress government emerged.

The FIR registered byRajasthan Police's Anti-Corruption Bureau mentionsdetails of conversations of(Congress rebel MLA)

Bhanwarlal Sharma with GajendraSingh (Congress claims it is areference to Union ministerGajendra Singh Shekhawat) and athird man called Sanjay Jain.

The BJP on Saturday asked ifthe Congress government in thestate resorted to "unconstitutional"methods to tap the phones ofpoliticians, and demanded a CBIprobe into what it called a "saga ofillegalities and concocted lies".

Rajasthan plunged into apolitical crisis after Chief MinisterAshok Gehlots deputy SachinPilot rebelled.

The Congress later removedPilot as the deputy chief ministerand also as the party's state unithead. "Phone tapping is an offenceand assault on personal freedom. Itis treachery with the Constitutionto bring down a democratically-elected government using money.Hence, it needs to be decidedwhich one (of these) is a biggercrime," the Shiv Sena said.

"The deal which was onbetween the BJP and Sachin Pilotwas to the extreme of exchangingmoney. That means it was decidedthat the Rajasthan governmentwould be brought down byoffering money and purchasingmajority by engaging in horse-trading," it alleged.

The Congress charge reiterated Friday that the BJPwas conspiring with rebel Congress MLAs tobring down Ashok Gehlots government in Ra-

jasthan, the release of audiotapes to buttress its claim andthe naming of Union minister Gajendra SinghShekhawat for his role, unsurprisingly led not just to aBJP denial and Shekhawats claim it was not his voiceon the tapes, but also a demand from the BJP for a probeby the Central Bureau of Investigation into allegedphone tapping. Earlier, the Rajasthan polices anti-cor-ruption bureau had registered FIRs over the audio tapesin which rebel MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma is heard talkingto two people, one allegedly Shekhawat and the otherone Sanjay Jain, who has since been arrested. (In anoth-er tape, MLA Vishvendra Singh, recently sacked as aminister, was also heard.) Given the circumstances of theongoing tussle in Rajasthan, it will be extremely inad-visable to inject the CBI into this matter, given its repu-tation as the handmaiden of the ruling party at the Cen-tre. In fact, given that this drama is essentially politicalin nature, it would be best to keep even the state policeout, and settle matters politically. One should rememberit was the notice sent to former deputy CM Sachin Pilotby the Rajasthan polices special operations group, overits probe into the BJP plot against the Gehlot govern-ment, that triggered the young leaders revolt earlier thismonth. Pilot and the MLAs supporting him, who wereissued disqualification notices by Assembly SpeakerC.P. Joshi, now have till Tuesday to submit their replies,on the orders of the Rajasthan high court. If the Speak-er, true to the bipartisan nature of his office, acts impar-tially, he should give both sides a fair hearing. The rebelMLAs say while they have complaints against theGehlot government, they had in no way indulged in anyanti-party activity. If the accusation is that some or allof them were in touch with BJP leaders, the same chargecould be levelled against the chief minister himself, whosupposedly kept a back channel open to former CM Va-sundhara Raje Scindia. If Gehlot is correct to claim thathe has majority support, particularly after two MLAs ofthe Bharatiya Tribal Party, who were earlier sitting onthe fence, returned to his fold over the weekend, all heshould do is request the governor and Speaker to hold anAssembly session at the earliest, and prove his strengthon the floor of the House. For that to be credible and le-gitimate, it is important that all MLAs are allowed toparticipate and vote. It is easy to believe that the BJP andthe Centre as they have so many times in so manystates earlier went out of their way to bring down theAshok Gehlot government.

Literature & HealthFlavoured cigarette ban to reduce

smoking among youths

Flavored cigarette ban was linkedto a significant reduction insmoking among youth and

young adults, according to recent re-search led by George Mason Univer-sity’s College of Health and HumanServices. Some of the earlier researchhas shed light on the fact thatflavoured cigarettes largely appeal toand are disproportionately used byunderage smokers.

Nearly 90 per cent of smokers be-gin smoking by age18, according to theU.S. Department ofHealth and HumanServices. To reducelong-term healthconsequences andimprove publichealth, preventingsmoking initiationis key as is reducingthe draw of flavoredtobacco products.

On September 22, 2009, the U.S.Food and Drug Administration’s na-tional ban on flavored cigarettes prod-ucts went into effect. This banned thesale of flavored cigarettes other thanmenthol, but there was little informa-tion about the potential impact of thisban on youth smoking. Dr. MatthewRossheim, assistant professor of glob-al and community health, led thestudy published in the Journal of Ado-lescent Health. Researchers foundthat the flavored cigarette ban re-duced smoking among youth (ages12-17 years) by 43 per cent andyoung adults (ages 18-25 years) by 27

per cent. "Our study suggests that theban of flavored cigarettes was ex-tremely effective at reducing smokingamong young people," explainsRossheim. "This shows incrediblepromise for future comprehensivebans of flavored tobacco products, in-cluding those in e-cigarettes, whichto-date have received significant ex-emptions. Policymakers should takenote of the evidence from this studyand pass legislation to extend flavor

bans to other to-bacco and nico-tine products,"Rossheim added.

R o s s h e i mand colleaguesexamined ciga-rette use amongyoung people andadults from the2002-2017 Na-tional Survey on

Drug Use and Health data. This in-cluded nationally representative datacollected every quarter each year, providing a more sensitive measure todetect changes in smoking behaviorsthan previous research, as well as anadult comparison group to testwhether there was an overall reduc-tion in smoking that could have beena result of other factors. Rossheimand colleagues did not see a similarreduction in smoking among oldersmokers, which suggests that this banwas effective at reducing smokingspecifically among young people andthat the reduction was caused by theban and not by other influences.

SUSHIL PANDIT

The dream of a self-reliant In-dia is seen by every commonand special person who is re-

ally waiting for a long time in hismind to strengthen himself and thenation. Economic, social and edu-cational situation of the country hasbecome weak due to the adverse cir-cumstances of Corona, due to thechange in the system due toCovid19, financially and mentallyaffected every section of the coun-try.

The announcement of an eco-nomic package of Rs 20 lakh croreshad only led to the introduction ofnew energy within the people work-ing in every field, but this an-nouncement, which does not appearto be very effective on the surface ofthe land, gave rise to negativethoughts towards the government.Talking of self-reliance without ful-filling the means is beginning toseem like a departure from themoral responsibility of the govern-ment, if all these points are high-lighted, then there is an atmosphereof despair in all sections.

Every day the demon in theform of unemployment stands be-fore the middle class and people liv-ing below the poverty line. The sub-jects of any nation hold an impor-tant place for the ruler and gover-nance of the country. It is consideredRajdharma to fulfill the basic facili-

ties of the people, but if every part ofthe government through which thepeople keep many expectations af-ter voting and they can claim theirown supremacy If you are distract-ed by your responsibilities in search, then the people will be strugglingevery day to save their existence, except for struggle and expectation, the people have no other option.

In the present scenario, almostall the workers have left their liveli-hood from the cities and gone to thevillages, the situation of the villageis also not very good for the work-ers in agriculture. Each section ofthe country is dependent on eachother in strengthening the economicsystem. Working like a livelihood, they directly help each other indi-rectly in providing bread, but thelock-down broke the chain itself, whatever it is, it happened under a

natural disaster, in which a govern-ment it will not be fair to blame, butit is also an important responsibilityof any current government to pro-vide a favorable environment to thecountry after adverse conditions. Abig part of the country is strugglingwith unemployment today, even af-ter being unlocked, the small busi-nessmen are financially and mental-ly disturbed due to lack of cus-tomers in the markets. Regardless ofthe announcements, if you talkabout reality, then due to the coronaepidemic, today almost all the smalland big industries, city markets, traffic and all the employment relat-ed to production employment arenot in a very good condition.

The matter of restoring the em-ployment of 1.25 billion people bythe Prime Minister of India showsthat in future the situation of eco-nomic and social system May cor-respond. It is also of great impor-tance here that due to the lockdown,a large part of the total population ofthe country is currently fighting forits existence alone due to unem-ployment. Ruling party is facing ad-verse conditions. While the opposi-tion is engaged in establishing itssupremacy, which is a matter ofconcern for the general public. It isnot wrong to establish the suprema-cy of any party or organization, butat the same time it is a very chal-lenging task to save the existence ofthe people who expect them.

The Singapore Ministryof Trade and Industryrecently released ad-

vanced estimates of the city-state’s GDP numbers for thesecond quarter of 2020. Thedata confirmed the brutal im-pact of the COVID-19 pan-demic on the economy.

On a seasonally adjustedannualised basis, quarter-on-quarter GDP was down some41.2 per cent compared withthe same quarter a year ago. Itis significantly worse thaneconomists’ expectation of a37.4 per cent contraction.

In the second quarter cov-ering the April 7 to June 1 pe-riod, Singapore was on a lock-down to prevent the spread ofthe virus resulting in econom-ic activity going into hiberna-tion with workplaces closedexcept for essential services.

Singapore’s advance GDPestimates are intended as anearly indication of the GDPgrowth in the quarter and arecomputed based on data fromthe first two months of thequarter. Adjustments will bemade when comprehensivedata becomes available buthistorically, the advance esti-mates have been reasonablyaccurate.

Singapore’s economy istrade-dependent and the se-vere decline in global con-sumption and trade is reflect-ed in how its economy hasperformed. As the first Asiancountry to report its GDPnumbers for the second quar-ter of this year, this may givea hint of the devastating effect

the COVID-19 pandemic mayhave had on similareconomies in the rest of Asia.

Due to the worseninghealth crisis, the InternationalMonetary Fund warned lastmonth of a steeper contractionin global economic activitythan it had earlier forecasted. In its revised estimate, worldoutput is expected to weakenby 4.9 per cent, comparedwith a 3.0 per cent contractionit had predicted in April.

On a quarterly basis, Sin-gapore’s overall GDP fell 12.6per cent compared within thesame period a year ago withmanufacturing being thebright spark boosted by stronggrowth in the biomedical sec-tor. The manufacturing indus-try output rose 2.5 per cent inthe second quarter, but it was

still lower than the 8.2 percentrise in the earlier quarter. On aquarter-on-quarter seasonallyadjusted annualised basis, themanufacturing sector shrank23.1 per cent, a sharp reversalfrom the 45.5 percent growthin the preceding quarter.

Apart from biomedicalmanufacturing, the economyin the wealthy island republicshrank across all sectors in-cluding chemicals, transport, engineering, and other manu-facturing clusters. Construc-tion, where the virus has beenrampaging through dormito-ries most workers are housed, saw the steepest plunge in ac-tivity with a staggering 95.7percent fall on a quarter-on-quarter annualised basis. Thistranslate to a deterioration of54.7 percent when compared

with Q1.The once-in-a-lifetime

pandemic has so far infectedover 14 million people world-wide and claimed more than600,000 lives globally as atthe end of last week. Singa-pore has reported nearly48,000 cases with about 95percent of the cases impactingmigrant workers, and a totalof 27 fatalities as a direct re-sult of the virus.

The services sector con-tracted 13.6 percent for thequarter on a year-on-year ba-sis with related industries likeretail, food and beverage(F&B), hospitality, and airtransport the most gravely af-fected. Among those particu-larly badly battered by thepandemic are small and medi-um sized Indian businesses in

Singapore especially those inthe retail, tourism and theF&B industries.

A task force was set-up bythe Singapore Indian Cham-ber of Commerce and Indus-try (SICCI) to help them. It ischaired by prominent lawyerChandra Mohan Rethnamwho is a partner at one of thebest-known law firms in Sin-gapore.

Among the first things theSICCI has done is to tie upwith Enterprise Singapore toset up the SG Together En-hancing Enterprise Resilience(STEER) Programme whoseobjective is to help businessestide over the challenges aris-ing from COVID-19.

Enterprise Singapore isthe government agency cham-pioning enterprise develop-ment especially among SMEs(Small and Medium sized En-terprises) helping them up-grade their capabilities, inno-vate, transform, and interna-tionalise. It also supports thegrowth of Singapore as a trad-ing hub.

As reported by Connect-ed To India, the SICCI taskforce went about providingsupport to Indian SMEs to ac-cess various Singapore gov-ernment funding and supportpackages for small business-es. They set-up a call centreand trained a group of peopleto be familiar with the variousgovernment schemes so thatthey can provide advise toSMEs who were unclearabout how best to go aboutgetting help.

As business slowed to atrickle and with cashflow andfinancial management top-most in the minds of theseSMEs, the task force tied upwith major banks and finan-cial institutions to provide di-rect and dedicated teams toprovide financial supportwith special interest rates, re-bates and fee waivers forSICCI members and Indianbusinesses that needed help.

Recognising that the lullin business activity offers anexcellent opportunity to up-grade skills and knowledge, the SICCI is collaboratingwith Skillsfuture Singaporeto curate a full range of rele-vant training courses usinggovernment grants for mem-bers and for Indian business-es so that once business re-sumes, they will be in a betterposition, with better qualifiedworkers, to grow their busi-nesses.

During this period, withsocial distancing at the fore, and where online shoppingand food deliveries are thekey to survival, digital com-petencies are critical for thesesmall businesses who needhelp to go online. To enablethis, the SICCI is reachingout to Singapore InfocommMedia Development Authori-ty (IMDA) to help IndianSMEs digitise their business-es using the many grants theSingapore government havemade available to SMEs whodigitalise and adopt e-pay-ment and e-commerce sys-tems.

Researchers at the Universityof Arkansas have developeda new nano-drug candidate

that kills triple-negative breast can-cer cells.

Triple-negative breast cancer isone of the most aggressive and fataltypes of breast cancer. The researchwill help clinicians target breastcancer cells directly while avoidingthe adverse and toxic side effects ofchemotherapy. The study was pub-lished in the latest issue of the jour-nal -- Advanced Therapeutics. Re-searchers led by Hassan Beyzavi, assistant professor in the Depart-ment of Chemistry and Biochem-istry, linked a new class of nanoma-terials, called metal-organic frame-works, with the ligands of an al-

ready-developed photodynamictherapy drug to create a nano-porous material that targets and killstumor cells without creating toxici-ty for normal cells. Metal-organicframeworks are an emerging classof nanomaterials designed for tar-geted drug delivery. Ligands aremolecules that bind to other mole-cules. "With the exception of can-cer">skin cancers, breast cancer isthe most common form of cancer inAmerican women. As we know, thousands of women die frombreast cancer each year. Patientswith triple-negative cells are espe-cially vulnerable, because of thetoxic side effects of the only ap-proved treatment for this type ofcancer," said Beyzavi. "We’ve ad-

dressed this problem by developinga co-formulation that targets cancercells and has no effect on healthycells," Beyzavi added.

Researchers in Beyzavi’s labo-ratory focus on developing new, tar-geted photodynamic therapy drugs. As an alternative to chemotherapy -- and with significantly fewer sideeffects -- targeted photodynamictherapy, or PDT, is a non-invasiveapproach that relies on a photosen-sitizer that, upon irradiation bylight, generates so-called toxic reac-tive oxygen species, which kill can-cer cells.

In recent years, PDT has gar-nered attention because of its abili-ty to treat tumors without surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.

ohali, : A man suffering from life-threatening large popliteal artery aneurysm has treated successfully with a newly introduced stent at Ivy MHospital, Mohali recently. The stent known as ‘covera plus vascular

covered’ has been used for the first time in the world for such an indication, claimed Dr Harinder Singh Bedi, director of cardio vascular & endovascular sciences who along with a team including Dr Rakesh Kumar , Dr Jiten Singh and Dr Vikram

Arora performed the surgery. Dr Bedi said further that the stent is specific for the use around knee joint and it is made of a special metal, nitinol which is very flexible and does not fracture even on repeated bending. Few days back, Gurjit Singh (name changed) a sewadar at a Gurudwara in Ambala City was rushed to Ivy to with sudden pain in his right thigh. Itwas found that there was an abnormal ballooning of his popliteal artery (a large artery behind the knee). This had blown out (ruptured) with a loss of over 2.5-litre of blood into the tissues . Dr Bedi

said that there was an imminent risk that the circulation below the lesion could be compromised with a potential loss of limb and life. The patient was very sick and anemic because of the blood loss, he pointed out. As the patient was at a high risk for conventional treatment thus an alternate plan was made to use a stent to block off the rent in the artery from inside, informed Dr Bedi. This has an inherent problem also since there was always movements at the knee joint and the stent which was made of metal could be fractured due to the repeated movements, he pointed out. It was a delicate procedure as the stent had to be placed precisely.

Indonesia to finally conduct exercises inSouth China SeaJAKARTA: Indonesia has finally decided to conduct exercises in the vicinity ofthe Riau Islands, the Foreign Brief reported. Over the years there has been anincrease in China's incursions into the 200-mile exclusive economic zonesurrounding the Natunas group of islands. Though the US has time and againchallenged China over its expansionist policies, the ASEAN countries havebeen scared to follow the lead for the fear of possible economic and militaryretaliation. The Foreign Brief opined that if the US continues to adopt a hawkishforeign policy and provide more concrete support against China's expansionisttactics, the ASEAN members could be more receptive to hardline deterrencemeasures and even military confrontation.

The Middle East and NorthAfrica is the worst region in theworld for working people forseven years running due to theongoing insecurity and conflictin Palestine, Syria, Yemen and

Libya coupled with the mostregressive region for workers'representation and union rights.

The ITUC report concludesthat 85 per cent of countriesviolated the right to strike and80 per cent of countries violatedthe right to collectively bargain.

The number of countriesthat impeded the registration ofunions has increased. Threenew countries -- India, Egyptand Honduras -- have enteredthe list of ten worst countriesfor workers.

access to justice in 72 per centof countries.

At the same time, workers

experienced arbitrary arrestsand detention in 61 countries.

"These threats to workers,

our economies and democracywere endemic in workplacesand countries before theCOVID-19 pandemic disruptedlives and livelihoods," saidITUC General Secretary SharanBurrow.

In many countries, theexisting repression of unionsand the refusal of governmentsto respect rights and engage insocial dialogue has exposedworkers to illness and death andleft countries unable to fight thepandemic effectively.

"As we look towards therecovery and build resilienteconomies, the 2020 ITUCGlobal Rights Index is abenchmark against which wewill hold governments andemployers to account," he said

in a statement."If the findings of the Rights

Index are not shocking enough,we are already seeing somecountries take things further.Under the cover of measures totackle the coronaviruspandemic, they are advancingtheir anti-workers'-rightsagenda. This has got to stop andbe reversed," said Burrow.

The Global Rights Indexexposes a breakdown in thesocial contract thatgovernments and employershave with working people."There is a trend to restrictworking rights throughviolations of collectivebargaining, withholding theright to strike and excludingworkers from unions."

India's debt to GDP ratio mayrise to 87.6 pc: SBI Ecowrap

AGENCYMUMBAI, JULY 20

India's debt to gross domestic product (GDP)ratio could climb to 87.6 per cent this fiscal,up from 72.2 per cent last year, due to acollapsing GDP and consequently higherborrowings, according to a research note bySBI Ecowrap released on Monday.

The country's gross debt is likely to bearound Rs 170 lakh crore in FY21 ascompared to Rs 146.9 lakh crore in FY20,said the research publication of State Bank ofIndia (SBI). "Interestingly, the GDP collapseis pushing up the debt to GDP ratio by at least4 per cent, implying that growth rather thancontinued fiscal conservatism is the onlymantra to get us back on track." The reportwarned that the higher debt amount will alsolead to shifting of the Fiscal Responsibilityand Budget Management (FRBM) target ofcombined debt (of the Centre and states) to 60per cent of GDP by FY23 by seven years. Thetarget is now expected to be achievable onlyin FY30.

Fiscal estimates have gone awry acrossthe globe amid higher pandemic-relatedexpenditures. Together with declining GDP

growth, the debt-to-GDP ratio has also beenadversely affected in all countries. "We againreiterate that the current thinking of ratingdowngrade in policy circles is a false negativeas India's rating is likely to face a litmus testof a downgrade in FY21, depending on whatwe have done to bring growth back to track,"said Soumya Kanti Ghosh, Group ChiefEconomic Adviser at SBI.

The report said that the current level offoreign exchange reserves is sufficient tomeet any external debt obligations. On theinternal debt, since most of the debt isdomestically owned, the debt servicing of thesame is not an issue.
