2 Note: Refer to Assembly Diagram for following steps. Sew rows together, alternating with black solid 1˝ x 25½˝ strips.

3 Sew orange dot 2¼˝ x 34˝ strips to sides of quilt; trim even with top and bottom. Sew remaining orange dot 34˝ strips to top/bot-tom; trim even with sides.

4 Follow manufacturer’s instructions for paper-backed fusible web. Trace templates A-E on paper side of fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut out on drawn lines. Referring to Quilt Photo and Diagram II-A, arrange A-E in alphabetical order on quilt top. Fuse in place. Edge-stitch using machine blanket stitch and matching thread (Diagram II-B).

5 Layer, baste, and quilt. Bind with orange dot.
