The Company

Corkart Group is a private, family owned

company founded by José Correia Neves

in 1987, although he has been involved

in the business long before.

All operations are headquartered in

Vendas Novas, Portugal, a town located

in the heart of the Portuguese cork oak

forests, approx 1 hour south of Lisbon.

With a covered area of 20.000 square

meters, Corkart employs more than

120 people. State-of-the-art manufacturing

equipment, excellent design and

highly trained, skilled and experienced

workers are just a few of the benefits

of dealing with Corkart.

Corkart uses excellent raw materials in

order to achieve superb results and

high quality products and permanently

searching for new flooring solutions,

innovations and investing in new

About Cork

Cork is natural, recyclable and biodegrad-

able. No natural or man-made material

replicates its properties. In a world of

growing environmental awareness, the cork

oak survives without the use of chemical

herbicides, fertilisers or irrigation. More-

over, it’s the only tree that regenerates

after harvesting.

Cork retains unique qualities of flexibility,

elasticity and compressibility. Its extreme

resilience, impermeability, lightness and

insulating efficiency make it ideal for a

large number of applications, such as a

closure for wine and spirits, cork is used in

industries as diverse as floors (floating

floor and cork tiles), shoe manufacturing,

construction (insulator planks), automo-

tives (gaskets), leisure (fishing rods),

upholstery (cork textile) and a wide range

of cork finished articles (handbags,

wallets, accessories). Which makes cork an

REPAIRKIT

Our Repair Kit is a useful help when your floor gets damagedby any reason. It is very easy to apply and you can quickly save yourfloor from holes, scratches and other similar problems.Minutes after applying the Repair Kit your floor will look new.It is recommended to apply the Maintenance Productafter the Repair Kit application for a homogeneous gloss level.

MAINTENANCEPRODUCT

A specially formulated biodegradable coating that helps revitalizeand protect your Corkart floor against wear and moisture.The use of DL-9667 is mandatory to maintain the wear warrantyon Corkart floors. Biodegradable, contains no volatille organiccompounds (VOCs).

UNDERLAYMENT


Cork Underlayment is the underlayment of choice for sound control.Forever resilient unlike the majority of synthetic underlayment membrances,it can be installed under any type floor covering.

A natural product which does not rot, it reduces and absorbs the moisturewhich might be created by condensation, preventing degradation of the floorcovering and the subfloor.
