Let’s remind ourselves what verbs and adverbs are!

Verbs are action words. They are used to describe the action taking

place in the sentence.

For example,

The rainbow fish is swimming

Adverbs are words that can be used to describe adjectives or verbs.

They give the reader more information.

For example,

The rainbow fish is swimming quickly.

Task 1: Silly sentences!
