From July 2013 becames part of gruppo Zucchetti. On February 2014 wons BestStartUp price as the best Friulian start-up estrablished in Zucchetti is the first IT company in the Italian market. It has more than clients. Presents a 300 milion euro turnover. Is based in Italy, USA, Brazil, France, Germany and Romania. Has about 200 foregin partners. From always, EasyStaff collaborates with University professors and researchers about operational research problems; EasyStaff has engineered University research prototyped algorithms and has transferred them to real cases, creating specific IT products. OUR MISSION Pag. 4 THE ALGORITHMS Are based on local research paradigm Consider an initial solution Random State Review a group of solutions that are close to the given solution (neighbourhood) Assess if among them there is a reasonable solution better than the one given at the beginning The quality of the solution is based on the computation rules satisfaction (with different weights) They harness the EasyLocal++ library that contains meta- heuristic techniques, different from each other because of the local minimums leaving modalities. Pag. 5 The EasyLocal++ library has been developed by the SaTT Scheduling and Timetabling Group research group from the Udine University. SaTT updates and maintains the EasyLocal++ library. EasyStaff staff and SaTT research group collaborate annually publishing scientific articles. EasyLocal++ 6 EasyLocal++ EasyLocal++ is a library developed by university professors and researchers that contains local research meta-heuristic techniques that can be used in every specific problem. Solver The solver is the software that defines the specific combinatory problem; inside the solver are defined the problem data structure and the weights of computation rules that determine the quality of the solution. System Integrator System Integrator The System Integrator represents the solver modalities to engage the front-end (web services remote startup, client machine installation, etc). FRONT END FRONT END The Front-End is the user interface from which is possible to manage initial informations, to set-up the computation rules, to start the resolutions, to display, review and publish the results, etc Optimisation algorithm - Executable file - In front of a new combinatory problem? EasyStaff produces the solver that creates the mathematic model and connects it to the EasyLocal++ libraries (develops the optimisation algorithm). EasyStaff develops the System Integrator that should be used for the front-end integration. EasyStaff can develop the front-end or can connect the system to a Partner front-end. It is possible to develop different solvers, even inside the same market for example, for the work shifts have been developed two different solvers (Basic Engine and TDA Engine). The System Integrators can be reused with simple adjustments for example, its been developed a platform that allows, through specific web services, the resolutions initialisation in remote mode in an EasyStaff server, managing the elaborations in batch mode.
