This course will give you practical points on how to treat your little patients well. Restorative treatment options and their clinical indications will be presented. 8:30 am - 10:00 amPrimary molar restoration - intracoronal composites and ionomers, lecture and hands-on

10:30 am - 12:00 pmPrimary molar restoration - full coverage stainless steel crowns and zirconia crowns, lecture and hands-on

1:00 pm - 2:30 pmPrimary anterior restorations - strip crowns and zirconia crowns, lecture and hands-on

2:45 pm - 4:30 pm Resin infiltration, chair side space maintainers and pulpotomies, lecture and hands-on

Dr. Carla Cohn drcohn@shaw.caDr. Cohn is a general dentist who has devoted herself solely to the care of paediatric patients. Dr. Cohn graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1991. She then went on to complete a post-graduate internship in Paediatric Dentistry. Her private practice, at Kids Dental, is focused on prevention, the growth and development of a cavity free generation. In addition to private practice, she is a part time clinical instructor, in Paediatric Dentistry at the College of Dentistry University of Manitoba. She is Past President and very active as board member for her provincial dental association, the Manitoba Dental Association. Dr. Cohn is a founding member of the Women’s Dental Network in Winnipeg where the mandate is to provide continuing education and networking for women dentists. She has published several articles, and webinars and she enjoys lecturing on all aspects of children’s dentistry for the general practitioner both nationally and internationally.
