The goal of today’s presentation is to get you familiarize with PACS photometer and spectrometer data, and to help you understanding when to re-process your data
We will not go in the details of the pipeline and of the ipipe scripts. For these, we recommend that you look at our online tutorials:

PACS data (as all Herschel data) can be accessed in a variety of fashions. After the workshop, you, the user, will pick the methods that suits the best your needs and taste. Today, we will focus on the getObservation and saveObservation tasks (see slides by Yi Mei on webdav : /General/presentations/How_to_use_getObservation_saveObservation)
