WERE HEADED TO TURNER VALLEY

Helen has graduated from the School of Biblical Studiesat YWAM Montana, and Michael has completed his yeaof staffing this amazing school; now were on our way toboth being on staff with SBS at YWAM Turner Valley!

God has done so much in us over the last nine months. He has shone HTruth into our lives and hearts, helping us to come to a greater understandiof our reliance on Him. He brought us through ups (revelations of Godsgoodness, trustworthiness, and sovereignty, as well as the opportunity to meefantastic people from all over the world) and downs (visa issues, an extremelstrenuous study schedule) throughout the year, and now that weve finishedour time in Montana, we see Gods hand in it all. We thank and glorify Godfor an amazing year, and the opportunity to seek Him and spend time in HiWord - something that millions of Christians throughout the world long for

We are so blessed that our time with YWAM and SBS is not over! We have

made a two-year commitment to staffing with the SBS in Turner Valley,where we will teach Gods Word to people from multiple nations. As weprepare for this ministry, we are excited to share the gift that God has given - knowledge of His Word - with those who will take the Gospel to the corneof the earth. As we wrappedup our time in Montana, itwas so encouraging to see

that Helens fellow students will be taking the Gospel to everycontinent (except Antarctica!), because they have come to know theBible in a deep and life-changing way, and long to share Jesus withthe world! We expect nothing less from our time with YWAM TurnerValley - we will be teaching and discipling world-changers!

We arrive in Turner Valley at the end of July to prepare for stafftraining, but there is much to do in the meantime. During our threeweeks in Ontario we will be speaking at two churches, hope to host aMissions Information Night, are having a garage sale, will bepurchasing a vehicle, and will be helping Michaels parents move toanother town! During this busy time, and as we look ahead to staffingwith Turner Valley, we covet your prayers. Turn the page for somespecific ways you can pray for us:

1. Our Time in OntarioWe have much to do during our time in Ontario, but our main focus is to connectwith as many family and friends as possible! We are looking forward to hearing althat God has been up to in the lives of our family and friends over the last year,and ask that you would pray that we use our time effectively!!

2. Safe TravelOn July 23rd we will be leaving southern Ontario to visit Michaels family innorthern Ontario for a couple of days before beginning our trek across thecountry. We will be camping our way across Canada, and are aiming to arrive inTurner Valley on July 30th. Please pray that our travels will go smoothly andsafely, and that we will find all the cheapest gas stations!

3. FinancesAs many of you will know from Facebook and our blog, we are trusting God

for a significant amount of money for a vehicle and for the costs of travelingacross Canada. To date, we still need $1800 to come in to cover these costs. Weare hoping that by the time you get this newsletter, you can be thanking God withus that we already have a vehicle (provided the finances come in). We will need to

see the funds for our trip come in prior to July 23. In addition, YWAM TurnerValley suggests a minimum of $1000 of monthly support for staff couples(YWAM staff do not receive paychecks; our salaries come from financial partners who believe in our mission toteach the Bible and reach the world with the Gospel). This suggested monthly support is quite a bit more moneythan we receive at present, but God is bigger than our financial needs, and we are trusting He will guide us as weseek His provision. Please join with us in praying for people to partner with us as we transition to staffing in TurnerValley. If you feel God is calling you to give, please see below for more details.
