"Take care, respect and improve the World´s water"
BACKGROUND
Copper is probably one of the oldest bactericides and algaecides known to man for the control of bacteria,
algae and fungi in drinking water.
Water, a not always unlimited resource, is the essential fluid for all living beings. Access to water has become a global issue of public interest that goes beyond the social, economic and geographical inequalities
Already in ancient Egypt the water is left in copper vessels to purify it and its use has been well documented since 1850. It is located as a natural element on earth and, despite being highly reactive and toxic to many bacteria and algae, is beneficial to the plant and animal life.
2
¿WHAT IS APC (copper)?
stable dissolution of copper ions
Occurs with food grade elements and does not generate waste byproducts and in their manufacture.
In it application complies with the provisions of the WHO recognizes a maximum level of up to 2 ppm for copper in drinking water treatment.
It is not toxic to humans and animal life and is friendly to the environment.
No biomagnification occurs. Copper does not accumulate or concentrate in the food chain.
This is a biocide which is presented as a …

As the copper, the silver has been in use historically like bactericidally. The ions silver act as pratoplasmic poison on having combined with the proteins of the bacterial cells.
* The combination of Cu + Ag + ions increases the bactericidal action of copper and no generate disinfection byproducts.
In the US, many water production companies use copper-silver ionization as a clear substitute for chlorine to prevent the formation of these products.
4
¿WHAT IS ACP (copper and silver)?
It is a unique suspension * copper and silver ions in aqueous solution itself has properties that help in the
disinfection process.
5
- Es una suspensión única de iones cobre y desinfección.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ACP AND IONIZATION
Zero energy expenditure in its application.
Using simple procedures.
Easy control of total ions released.
Null implementation costs.
Portability of ions remote territories.
Homogeneous dispersion in application.
More effectively.
FEATURES
Shows high activity at low doses
Broad spectrum
Quick Action
Active in presence of organic matter
Non-toxic
Noncorrosive
Easy to apply
6
EFFECTIVENESS
Destroy all forms of bacteria and viruses, enveloped and non-enveloped, mold, mildew,
fungi and algae effectively.
The vibrio cholerae is controlled in 20 minutes with low concentrations, as a dilution of 1 / 480,000 with ACP.
Legionella pneumophila Salmonella typhimurium Enterococcus faecalis Escherichia coli Vibrio Colera Salmonella enterica Clostridium perfringens
Candida albicans Polio Virus Pseudonomas aeruginosa Staphilococcus Aureus Herpes simplex I y II Shigela sonnei

THE SUBSTITUTE OR SUPPLEMENT OF CHLORINE
Replaces chlorine or reduce their consumption by combining both products
Chlorine is … Toxic Irritant Volatile It runs quickly Accused odor Unwieldy
Treatment / disinfection of water and wastewater
9
Combined ...
with ACP we lower chlorine levels used to the maximum permitted by the WHO (0.5 mg / L) and in turn can ensure excellent quality of drinking water.
