    Sharing vs. Making Available

    Technology is simply redefining what is acceptable to putout about oneself. I grew up with technology, so Im notsure what it was like before this boom of social networking,but it just seems that rather than spending our time sharinginformation about ourselves with different people, we just

    put it in one module where people can just go access it ifthey want to. So its just more convenient. I think adults justthink its about losing privacy because they see pictures beput up, and they never had that ability. -- Alicia

    Public by Default;

    Private through EffortWhen they see our photo albumsor see our conversations theythink its a big privacy breech. IJUST THINK it is different because

    it has to do with how you grew up,Like I said earlier, there are thingsthat you shouldnt put up or thingsthat you shouldnt say, but I think

    privacy is more about choosingwhat you want to keep to yourself,so FB isnt abusing privacy, I thinkits allowing people to choose howthey define privacy. -- Elizabeth
