I can’t hear my own voice,

getting off topic,

so much to tell,

after the weekend

the teacher does not have

a chance.

Football

When I enter the stadium, and the crowd is on its feet

clapping,

My feet are all jumpy, and I feel the stress building!

As I get my first touch, I pass it quickly on,

The ball comes back to my fidgety feet, and I can’t let this

moment be gone!

I pause for a millisecond, for here is my chance to shoot,

I swing my leg and watch, holding my breath,

and then the ball soars

Into the GOAL!

My Friend

My friend is so very nice.

We’re so often as quiet as mice.

When I play with him every day,

He keeps me happy in every way.

Sometimes he is funny, sometimes he is weird.

Whatever I do, he has never sneered.

He is not with me anymore,

but I will remember him for ever more.

Friends like him are very special to find,

he is unique, awesome and one of a kind.

Trees

When the wind gently blows,

it brings many nutritious to help it grow,

Up so fast attacking the air,

They can grow as huge as a male bear,

with the wind blowing they strongly shake,

making sounds like full grown rattlesnakes,

there is so much shade with the million leaves,

come let us relax under these glorious trees!

My dog Chewie is a mound of trouble,

He bites and chews like a hound!

He chews and chews all day long,

He howls and howls like he's composing a song!

He makes you gain lots of heat,

Unless you give him lots of meat.

Compared to my dog, who eats like a hog!

With some rocks lining the pathway going place to place,

What a peaceful place to live!

Sea

Calm waves passing by,

Wild music created by the wet sand,

People looking out at the dark blue sea,

And enjoying when the sparkles land on the calm waves,

Spreading all around,

Then go out and give food to the living creatures that live

under the sea.

it is a place with plenty of beautiful clothes,

Controlling the weather is very tough

but enjoying all the seasons is not at all rough

There was once a boy called Tate

who always was late

he lived in a crate that had no gate

all he had to eat was dark delicious dates

the crate was in such a deplorable state,

that he decided to leave and live in a plate!

he went out in the sun

and sat down to eat a his bun

he slipped and fell onto his face

and damaged broke his tooth brace

Oh Tan oh Tan why did you go out

you could have stayed home and been safe without a

Glasses help you read

Glasses help you succeed

Glasses may help you in class ( or Not)

but they do protect you when it is cold or hot!

So Dear Mom and Dad while I realize these are all

positive reasons

I am still not convinced that I should follow the eye

doctor’s recommendations!

Caves

There once was a spooky cave

to go in you have to be very brave

it was found on a cliff that was extremely steep

the path into it was long and deep

the cave itself was shaped like a long tunnel

and it smelled horrible like the inside of an old dusty

funnel!

Math

Math can be terribly hard

but only if you do not try hard

you need to use the best calculator which is your brain

learning the cool tricks and strategies is main,

Math at one time made me terrified

but I am now happy and no longer petrified.

Math is awesome - math is great

Math is my favorite subject in third Grade!

Sports are games that make you healthy,

the best athletes are always wealthy.

I don't know why but sports makes you sweat and

when you sweat you sure do get wet!
