User Side

The connection speed depends on where the connection is. It enables you

to know how fast or slow the connection speed is. By having the connector further away, the longer

it will take to travel due to travelling through walls. Also if the connector is closer, the speed will be

increased due to having not a lot of space area to get by.

The hardware is connected to the browser which sends the processing power to it. By having too

many processors open, the browser then becomes much slower to handle and becomes faulty to

what you want to do on the internet.

The browser is where you go onto the internet and is then able to search what

you want. There are many risks which can affect your computer. These are

if the browser is running low, the power from the browser will become

much slower.

The Malware system is where you get an email when a virus comes through your computer .It can

also check out infectious incoming mail.

Bandwidth is the amount of space available you can have on a

file. By having a lot of space, you can store more information

onto your files and by having a less amount of storing space on

your file, there is a limited space that is available.

Functionality show’s how fast or slow something on your computer/website is working and

functioning. By this, if the computer is functioning well, the computer will then perform at a faster

pace in order to allow you to do what you want. However; if the computer/website doesn’t function

as it’s supposed to do so, it will then become much slower than it already ready was.

By having a lot of Cache memory, the more amount of history, information

you can have to store and it becomes much more easier to access. On the other hand by having a

little amount of Cache memory, it can store a less amount of information.

Server Side The server side of Traffic speed can cause many effects of using websites. This is due to a high

amount of people throughout the world going onto the internet on many sites. The network and

being on a website can become much slower by too many people being online all at once.

By having a hardware system which isn’t brand new and is at an older

age, it can affect the performance on a computer. This is by not being

able to store as much information as what a new hardware would and

due to it being an older hardware it may run slower than a present one.

The amount of documents, pictures and files can make the performance

on a computer come at risk. It can also affect the amount of space that is left on your

computer. This would then limit the space available to restore any new information.

The file, size, type can also affect the performance of a computer or a website.

This is by the higher amount of files you have; the more amount of

memory is being used. By having this happening, the performance will

become much slower than it was.

A software system can have viruses. By having many viruses on the

system, it can cause it to corrupt and make the performance slower. If the

performance becomes slower, it will enable your limit in what you would like to do a less

low percent.

Malware is where viruses that have been sent to your computer through

mail. Malware checks out infectious incoming mail. By having disrupting

emails, mails and viruses on the computer, it will then make the computer

to become much slower. When trying to do something, it may not work

until the virus has gone.

Functionality - The quality of being suited to serve a purpose well. The purpose that

something is designed or expected to fulfil.

Software - Is the collection of computer programs and related data that provide the

instructions telling a computer what to do.

Computer virus - A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a

computer. It can also be spread from one computer to another.

Hardware – A personal computer is made up of multiple physical components of computer

hardware, upon which can be installed a system software called operating system and a

multitude of software applications to perform the operator's desired functions.

Performance – Computer performance is characterized by the amount of useful work

accomplished by a computer system compared to the time and resources used. This will

then show how well or not so well it is.

Browser - A web browser or Internet browser is a software application for retrieving,

presenting information resources on the World Wide Web.

Cache memory - In computer engineering, a cache is a component that transparently stores

data so that future requests for that data can be served faster.

Increase – It becomes or makes it a greater in size, amount, intensity, or degree.

Connector - A power connector is an electrical connector designed to carry a significant

amount of electrical power. For example (plugs socket, to switch a computer on).
