The Primary Election that is taking place on June 9th, 2020 will be a Vote by Mail Election only. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic and to protect Bottineau County citizens and Election Workers, the Bottineau County Commission made the decision to follow Gov-ernor Burgum’s Executive Order to conduct the Primary Election by Mail-In Ballot only.
There will be no polling locations open on Election Day. In addition, there will be no voting available at the Bottineau County Auditor’s Office regardless of whether the Courthouse is open or not.
If you would like to vote by mail, please send your applications to our office ASAP. If you have not received an application and would like to vote, please call our office at 228-2225. Please make sure your address is updated by either using the online tool at https://vip.sos.nd.gov or you can call the NDDOT at 701-328-4353. Vote-by-Mail ballots must be postmarked by June 8th, 2020 to be accepted or dropped off at Courthouse Dropbox by 4:00 pm on June 9th.
